I got a south enterance key, it was on the second level in the house of exploding teddys... I take it this is the mountain gate key? Where is the mountain gate? How do I get into the mountain? I have been running around everywhere for hours and cant find it.

Having played and replayed this gloomy, tense, and eerie excursion into the dark side of the (Thief) universe I found it a masterpiece, judiciously mixing thrill, excitement, horror, and intellectual challenge:thumb: I've completed all objectives (regular and optional) and killed all the monsters on both occasions.
One headache though: I was unable to find more than 2477 loot on either quests, that is, I must have missed about 500 altogether:sweat:. Most of what I found was relatively visible ](except the bar secret and the coins under the barrel in the mountain shed) so I suspect there may be an obvious stash somewhere:confused:. I'd appreciate any suggestions, thank you.

readable for ring: search a corner near the tunnel to old city (small tunnel behind vines), there is a very small niche with readables.
ring: go to the place with a lot of big crates near sea. There is a ladder inside wooden building. Go up ladder and there is a place to sleep with some notes. carefully search wooden beams.

It's nice to know I'm in good company when it comes to NOT finding things.
So far I've managed to stumble around and find most of the objectives by retracing my steps many times.
This is a masterpiece of suspense, terror and challenge. I'll not mention the few negatives I encountered as they have already been addressed .
IMHO this will become a classic; up there with the best of FM's.

NOW,.....I have the Access Key.....to what? I still need the key to open the safe at the clockmaker's.

The Access Key is used at City Electric in Old Town. While in there look around for the safe key.
