I never got that objective either and I had a good old hunt.

smithpd,
I think you have to read through ALL pages of each books in order to "piece together" that objective. Just opening their first page is not enough - at least that was my impression after multiple replays.

AFAIK this is not possible to implement in a Thief FM.

It was just a hunch:idea: because I was also unable to have that objective checked off first but later on it always completed nicely with the "reading-in-full" technique.:) Coincidence, superstition? I'd bet the books were the same... of course I may be wrong, as I'm largely unfamiliar with the inner working of Dromed and the game engine.:(

First off , I am a hardcore Thief and Thief fan mission player thats been playing since it first came out, And I want to thank you, and all that put forth the time and effort to make these missions.
I really love the look and feel of this mission but I ran into a problem that has happened once before in another mission (I don't remember the name of the first one) Many of the objects like tables, beds and such are invisible, and sometimes I can walk through them, but other times I bump into an invisible bed, and sometimes when I get close, they will suddenly appear,I stepped onto an elevator and fell through, Some doors look black, but change when I get close, or stay black, if the door stays black I can walk though it , lol
I have the Enhancement pack , and I think I have all the custom scripts ,Any Help would be very much appreciated.
Thank You

It's very probably the enhancement pack. Missions that use a lot of custom resources frequently don't mesh well with it installed. Try uninstalling it, and then playing the FM.

I got 2 out of 3 of them. I don't understand how to get the one
tath is behind a metal gate, with a lever that should be activated by using something on the skull....yes, but what????Never mind, I found it! :)
... but you didn't post the solution for the rest of us who are still stuck, that's rude.
So anyway, same question here, explicit answer, please.

@Arrowgrab - There is a library with a patrolling creature. Next to the library is a small room with an iron maiden inside. On the table in there is a skull. Look closely at the skull.
Arrowgrab on 8/12/2009 at 00:20
Ah, got it, thanks. I've been to that room before, but didn't notice the thing.
And ridiculously enough, I'm stuck again - but this time I suspect it might be a bug, or just a very obtuse mission goal:
I've come back from the mountain, and picked up a red 'Station Key' from a skeletal hand hanging from the ceiling. I assume this is the key to the power station where I need to go to advance the plot. Now here's the problem: I've gone to the power station, got through the big gate next to the City Electricity sign, and now I'm in a tiny yard with a generator, a humming "electric pole", and a locked metal door, which I assume is the entrance. However, the key marked 'Station Key' doesn't fit it. Now what the hell?
Tannar on 8/12/2009 at 00:43
That key is not for the power station but for the City Watch station. Have you found the generator behind the locked gate that turns off the power to the electrified gate in front of Vorenthius's house? The City Watch station is right across from that generator.
