If it makes you feel any better, even I had some trouble. I tried different techniques including ladders (which just...didn't make sense) and other alternatives, but jumping in felt more Thief-like. I hope you enjoy the rest of the mission.

I've just had another go at doing it again, but I'm not finding the trick again.
Must say I feel that mantling + jumping is the most unreliable mechanism in Thief. At least in this level it's not necessary to reload when the jump & mantle fails! The number of times I've had to reload when fumbling a jump is annoying, at least my new machine is quite brisk at loading now.
Haven't had time to play further than the entrance to the port, ticked off the first objective. Visually very impressive :thumb:

This is one of my all-time favorites. I tested this mission and must have played it at least 40 times during testing. And I enjoyed it almost as much the last time as the first and that only because nothing quite beats your first time through this mission.
