I am experiencing too the non frobbable attic door after it has been opened once. Is there a solution to this?
I'm in awe for the richness and beauty of the textures used and of the mood of this mission:thumb::thumb:

After I got the battery for the UV light 1. the light didn't work for me at all no matter what I did, so
I had this problem too, right clicking did not activate the UV like it should have. I restarted the game and then it worked.

the ghost that closed it has locked it from the inside, you will have to find another way inlittle hint:
there's a big hint nailed to a locked door, next to the library

After two weeks, I finally sat down to play this gem and woah...I think the subsided area scared me the most, running from those haunts got my adrenaline pumping so much it took a minute or two for my legs to stop shaking, and the start was very tense yet I had a few ideas about what to expect and what not to expect. My biggest issue with this mission was not requiring the player to come up with varied ways of taking out the haunts, really would have kept the tension up not knowing how to take each one out....that holy water was like having my trusty sword or even trustier holy sword with me cause I can take on any T2 AI hand-to-hand.

Spellcheck is your friend.
check my spelling - all is right - NOW - if you mean my textual shortcuts - if you don't like them - oh well!

like the code only allows you to use your sword on 2 or 3 of the enemy - then it makes them invulnerable to sword, then each time you try a diff method it only allows those 2 or 3 or 4 kills before you have to try something else - may be a lot of work to code that - but i don't see why it can't be done - and would make for many "OH SH*T" moments when you see you gotta try something else!
(and run like a dog from the last failed attempt! LOL

I completed this one last night, really good experience. Creepy atmosphere and I got creeped out a few times. The mannequins, I knew what was going to happen after playing DP2, but when I got to the grate, I didn't expect it to get so close like that.
I also noticed something rather odd. I had four of the ghosts chase me into the chapel and die from the holy water. One from the attic however, followed me into the kitchen and around the back of the chapel. Then he disappeared completely. He didn't touch the holy water and I never saw any flash - but according to the coffin he was sorted out. I even checked the attic again and nothing. All 5 were eventually taken care of... so I found that a bit odd. Bug?

Thank you caffeinatedzombeh. I understand the door you refer to, but....haven't got any clue on how to access the veranda roof...is it via the loft?

with the attic ghost, it was only when I noticed his corpse had lost its "sparkle" I realised what had happened.
