Lawviz: Inside the column with the piston (in the room where you found the metal thing). You need to find a way to disable the piston, and one of the notes in that room gives a very strong hint about how to do that. Once it's disabled, you can go in, and stand up.

Never mind....happens to ALOT of people...I got through it right after posting...
it wasn't exactly the metal rod's fault...it was the matter of opening the stupid..uhh..plumbing gate of piston...I just randomly pressed the buttons and the door slide open...still i don't know what I pressed to open the glass gate but yeah, after that I knew what to do ;)...by any chance...did any of you find out whats under the "earth"? The mission always ends before i touch the ground ;)

I've flown the first plane, crashed it , got the copter outside, added the 3 blades, added the motor, added the lever, moved the pipe over and tried ?? to fill the balloon - I've left it fill for 20 minutes (real time) and nothing happens, the gas is runnning but the controls dont work
Please give me a hint or help....
- for some reason the balloon didn't deploy properly the first time - I ran thru it again and it worked fine

I'm about to built this "helicopter-baloon". I connected the 3 airscrews, the motor in the back and filled it up with gas. Now I'm stuck with an "airplane lever" and an "Air plane tail", both absolutely resist being useful !
I think the lever should be in the "cockpit", but it doesn't stick there.
Nobody else seems to have had those difficulties, so im feeling stupid now.

You need to read the blueprints in order from 1 - 3. There is something you need to build first, before the helicopter.

Did you frob the bag to lift it into the fillable position? Have you extended the walkway? If so, try doing it in a different order - frob bag then fill with gas first.
PS Use spoilers next time please. :)
Edit: I've tried it all ways. I can't fit the airscrews without raising the bag so it's not that. It starts and flies OK with the walkway retracted so it's not that either. I'm baffled.

I'm stuck in the same place as a couple of others but didn't see an answer. Mission 3 I'm outside on the platform, have frobbed the anchors but for the life of me can't see anything else I can do to get inside.
I expect it will be dead simple.
And it was - found it! Need to read posts a bit more carefully.
