1. You should be able to just walk through it.
2. They don't become frobbable - you will need to use what's written on them. There's a very long post here somewhere by baeuchlein (page 5 I think) that gives detailed instructions if you need.
3. There is a key for that lock - I think in the main bedroom maybe.
Hope that helps.

Hey. Nickie -- Thanks!
1. I definitely can't just walk through that mirror/window/door. I smack into it every time! -- a bug, maybe?
2. Glad I took screenshots of those little buggers!
3. Ok, I'll keep looking! I think the key found in the bedroom was for the study?

Sorry redleaf - I'm no good at remembering key locations - I sometimes have lucky guesses!! Really don't know about the mirror thing though.
Anyone have any ideas? See 1. of redleaf's first post.

Absolutely brilliant stuff, sterlino & one of the best - heaps of fun, challenging-but-gettable puzzles, lots to do & marvel at, and great design
+1. Finished the 2nd mission and just started the 3rd, gameplay is exceptionally enjoyable.

redleaf: You are the only person who has had trouble with that thing. It could be that your system suffered a glitch and then you did a save game. If so, the glitch would have been saved too. :grr:
The way it should work is: "Use" the Spell Scroll on the mirror and you will see blue lights and hear an incantation. When it finishes wait a couple of seconds and then walk through the mirror.
I'm afraid that you need to solve the problem otherwise you won't be able to finish Escape. You could skip to the end with Ctrl+Alt+Shift+End but then you will miss a lot of good stuff. Better to reload an earlier save or even to restart and skip through to Escape. If that works OK discard your previous savegames.
The Forbidden Room key is in a secret off a room to which you already have the key.

Hmmm ... well I'm not really so far into the game. I'll try an earlier save, but if that fails, it'll be better to start from scratch. I'd hate to miss any of it by using the Ctrl+Alt+Shift+End thing. Thanks for the help!

... in the museum. Gonna try that next. I found a lot of tablets, but I can't take them with me  Should I be writing something down? I found a book saying the runes need to be in this order: "moon, monster, man" Where does that apply?

Great series, Sterlino ! A lot of new stuff, innovative design, and much more ... :thumb:
I'm out of loot in last mission (6.) and I desperately need to watch the grand escape pod finale... :) Can anybody post lootlist, please ?
ffox on 20/3/2008 at 16:50
Aspirin - you have mail.
Acolyte6: it's a good idea to make a note of the symbols on each tablet. All will be revealed in the fullness of time.

Now I'm in Mission 3... Just a little "bug" I found. When in the right trim shaft one has to use the code to the left trim shaft & vice versa, either the plaque or the books are at fault..hehe Anyway, when getting caught in the trim shaft trap what happens then? Do I wait it out or reload a saved game?
Is there a lock pick or something to get to all those doors & chests? & last but not least, what air ducts do I use the "metal thing" on?
