maga :
Hint; You need the 3 "strange crystals" - there's a place in the guest's room where you can 'use' them.
Bigger Hint; 'use' one low down on the left side of the bed.
redleaf : What a bummer!! Hope someone can get you around the problem (I've no idea, sorry). As a last resort you may have to ctrl-alt-del-end - there's still plenty of great mission to come.

Well, skipping to the next mission might have to be the way to go. I just hope this is the only glitch! Was having a lot of fun with this one. I love the puzzles!

Great job!! Really liked this game. I gave you 9 out of 10 :thumb:'s on the voting thing on GarrettLoader. 1st time around I cheated a little with mission 2 & the one with getting in to the crate onboard the Zeta-One, couldn't get in the glowing crate :-( so I did the ctrl+alt+shift+end thing. Gonna play again though. It was especially fun to fly around & build things... Excellent!!

redleaf: I'd forgotten you are the "death by rope" victim! There is obviously something borked somewhere in your Thief2/FM/Darkloader installation. I should try to put that right before attempting to play any more FMs.
It might come down to completely deleting the Thief2 and Darkloader folders, doing a fresh install of Thief2 and then carefully following all the steps in the (

Edit: Ref R. Soul's post - there is a copy of gen.osm in the mission pack.

I think you were trying to get into a big cardboard box, not the crate! :) You need to extend the exterior walkway(s)and walk round to the prow. The big wooden crate in the front section of the hold is the one you should get into.

The scraper is in
a chest in the yard (not by the greenhouse), and the key you asked about earlier must be the
mansion keys worn by the maid in the kitchen.Nice to know I can still make amateur mistakes.
I never moved the body of the kitchenmaid after I clubbed her, thereby not picking up her keys. And the garden where the wallpaper scraper is in had a metal door so I couldn't access it with the sword.

you missed the
banner in the museum, there is a switch also for that behind the colum but can also cut it = same result Hah, that was the one! I knew I was missing one of the tablets, but I read about its encryption in one of the books, and figured that was the one that
got lost in shipping (mentioned in another readable). Thanks!
PS: Still cannot check the mega objective in mission 6...

ffox, R Soul and Sterlino:
I've been having weird problems like this lately no matter what pc I'm using (we have 5) when playing Thif2 fms. I've tried reinstalling Thief2 for other problems, and nothing changed. So now I'm thinking maybe my Thief disk is bad? Anyway, I'll try to buy a new copy tomorrow and install it. We'll see what happens. BTW: The standard cheat for skipping on to the next mission also stopped working. :weird: Wish me luck. Dunno what else to do.

Another way to skip to the next mission is Ctrl + P to bring up the console then enter win_mission. Good luck! :)
