For what it's worth, the balloon issue in Mission #4 (High Hopes) MAY be resolved by the order you do things.
1. Attempt reconstructing the plane first. Pick up the "still useable lever" after the crash.
2. Move the copter to the outside.
3. frob the balloon part of the copter.
4. assemble the copter parts (3 blades, used lever, motor)
5. gas up the balloon.
6. extend the plank and hop onto the copter and take off.
Thanks to ffox and Velvet Paw for all assistence.

Ok, I give up! :)
What exactly are you supposed to do in Mission 3 (Zeta One) once you
[spoiler]
...are trapped and the alarm is going off? I have the metal rod and and I know you're supposed to put it somewhere but is that somewhere actually IN this room? If its not then I am stuck. [I mean I have an earlier save, but from what I reading the solution is supposed to be nearby] Were you supposed to use it somewhere else earlier?
I can't put it under the press and the only other place I can think of is that little square window but its not frobbable. I've read the readables so somebody please just spoil directly.
P.S. - I put the basketball under the press too and it exploded! :)

Hint:
Inside the
column with the piston (in the room where you found the metal thing). You need to find a way to disable the
piston, and one of the notes in that room gives a very strong hint about how to do that. Once it's disabled, you can
go in, and stand up.
Complete spoiler:
On the wall is a U-shaped pipe. Hit it with your sword (maybe a few times) and it'll disable the piston. Go inside the piston housing and stand up. A little round thing should highlight. Use the metal thing on it ant it'll become a switch, which can then be frobbed to open the grate at the bottom of the wall.Ridiculous spoiler:

OK, thanks R Soul - I got it. Sometimes only considering whats frobbable and whats not restricts your thinking.

I am trying tohide in the cargo hold. There is a box in there that lights up, but am unable to get in. I did get the z key and open the panel in the one room, and moved the two handles. How do I hide in cargo hold?

That's not the correct place.
The levers you pulled have extended walkways along the sides of the craft, near the bottom. Use them to go to the front.

Stuck in mission 3 need lock picks? I have searched everywhere.
R Soul on 25/3/2008 at 17:25
Lockpicks:
They're in a small box in the big crate that you start in, along with a few other things.
