Hi everyone,
I installed T2X 1.1 and it started up fine. However, when I sat down to play it the following day (today), I loaded my quick-saved game, forgetting that I hadn't done a QS for T2X yet. As a result, the QS from the last fan mission I played loaded. I exited the program and restarted T2X, but it now consistently starts with the fan mission. I can't retrieve the expansion. I'm assuming it's some sort of config file tweak, but I have no idea which one or how to modify it. Can someone help?
Thanks!
Steve

This probably isn't a T2X issue, but rather an issue with how the FM got started and closed.
Is your FM loader set to the default original missions?
If not, set it up so it does, and try Thief2x again.
If that isn't the issue:
If you start Thief2 (no "X") does that run as expected with the OMs? If it doesn't, fix that first and try Thief2x only when Thief2 is running as it should without FMs.
If Thief2 is running as expected and Thief2x isn't:
First check the shortcut you are using to start Thief2x (right-click and select 'Properties..'). It should point at the Thief2.exe and the 'Start In..' folder should be the 't2x' folder.
If the shortcut is setup correctly, then apparently some t2x configuration files got broken. The easiest way to fix that is to simply delete the t2x folder and reinstall Thief2x 1.1. If the installation went without issue the first time, it should do so again. But do remember to set your FM loader to use the default original missions before installing..

This can occur if you install T2X while a fan mission was loaded. Thief2 should be in an original state before installing Thief2X. As Addink mentioned, return Thief2 to an original state and then reinstall T2X.

And for instructions on how to do this, check the section called "Clean up of files" here: (
