Wow, so convenient, so easy..! Worked perfectly, thanks!! I just wish this information was easier to find, this should definitely be stickied somewhere. I was wondering for a long time how to play FMs these days and didn't know I already possessed the software to do that and only needed to download zip files :D As easy as that.

I'm sorry I did not make myself clear.
The difficulty was not finding FMs, but installing them. I knew where to download them, but didn't know what to do with zipped files. This method as described by Brethren really eased the process and I wish more new players could have access to this easy method to play FMs.
It may seem like an easy thing to play FMs, for you, but for new players, it can seem like it needs lots of time of finding out and installing stuff. A new thread on "How to play Fan Missions (FMs). The easy way." would go a long way to attract more newcommers to play FMs. I mean, I didn't play FMs for the past few years simply because I was too lazy to implement the software :D didn't know it was so easy.

You've seen the Fan Mission FAQ and that does specifically state what to do with zip files and how to use the loaders, including FMSel. The FMSel link Brethren posted is also listed in the Links thread and in the FAQ. All the information you need is listed.
However, the FM FAQ is out of date and is being updated and better co-ordination of information is needed. So, I'd appreciate it if you could pm to me what you couldn't find that you felt you needed or didn't understand so we can make sure that it's covered in the updated FAQ.
