T3: Climbing and thieves highways... - by Melianor

Hi folks,
I know this is silly and old and i know i had the same problem when i played T3 when it came out. There are some places where you can get around over the roofs in the city and i remember a few.
Now i ran into a problem i scavenged up the wooden front near the to fence shops and also got onto the the next leverage made from cloth and wood. But when i try to get up on the slanted roofpart which leads onto the roof path, Garrett always slips off the roof and can seem to climb up. I remember that how to do this was rather simple and i am running into my same mistakes again.
Please help out a clumsy climbing old taffer.
regards, meli

Which district are you in?

Southquarter. Its the area where Garretts fence is located.

Okay.
The reason I ask is because he has more than one fence, though Heartless Perry's the main one.
I haven't done much purely-exploratory climbing in most areas, so someone else will have to help, but now they'll know where you are.
Is there something to see up there, or are you just climbing for the fun of climbing?:)

In the Black Alley (?), I mean, where the fences are, you can climb up to a hidden garrett attic when you're starting from the little wooden overhang that's some meters away from the shop. But I cannot remember any reasonable climbing on the shop's/fence's walls right now.

I believe you have to climb up and to the right, drop down and mantle. its been awhile, but thats how I remember it. if mantle does not work, try jump mantling. Hope this helps!

Better to climb not near the fence's house, but near Garrett's home. As you enter SQ from Garrett's home, go ahead across the square past the fountain to the straight vertical wall without any obstacles to climb up to the top. Climb up and you're there.
