woodrufus,
first of all, this particular fan-mission has some performance's drop in the starting zone, so there's no surprise, that it can be buggy at some machines. Secondly, most part of TDS FMs (and this one too) goes with extended limits of Vertex Pools. In other words, the load at your computer while FM's playing is higher then the load while classic TDS story's playing. I don't know, how to explain better, sorry.
Thanks for taking the time to reply - I'll probably have to wait until I build a better machine.
I thought your Furious Flames was superb by the way:D

What a brilliant mission! Took several hours to beat and it was really enjoyable. Reminded me of some of the nice large missions for classic Thief. Found only 1 secret though. And the ending seem like a "to be continued".
Is there any sequel to the story??

This is a masterpiece. When I started playing all the T3 fan missions, I did not expect there to be one I would rate 10/10. Such a high rating is very rare for me. I am impressed.
Stats:
* Thief difficulty
* 88 minutes
* 93% loot
* 0 hints needed
Elements I liked:
* At the beginning, I enjoyed getting to explore parts of the threatre without having to worry about guards until I found a suitable hiding spot for Garrett.
* The layout of the theatre is believable, which helps with immersion.
* The journals are engaging and contain just enough hints to find those precious special items.
* Loot is well hidden, but not in unfair locations. I had to work for the 90% loot goal.
* I liked the key hunt aspect of the mission. Finally getting into Johnston's room after reading the note pinned to the doorframe early in the mission was satisfying.
* The mission has several twists and surprises in store for the player. Those kept things engaging over the course of my playthrough. I had a big smile on my face when I got to the end. Few missions captivated me like this.
Elements that could be improved:
* After listening in on the custom conversation from the door to the office, I managed to get into the secret room before the two AI. From the shadows, I could see them vanishing in thin air after they entered.
* Some of the loot can easily be missed, like the tiny copper ring on the floor of the auditorium.
* In a storeroom, I found one of those glowing bars of soap. To me, this always looks like the item properties are off.
* After the stats screen of the mission, it loads into Garrett's apartment. If you visit Heartless Perry to sell your loot, he may talk to you about the Bloodline Opal you steal at the beginning of the original game. You can also enter The Docks through a Keeper door.
Bugs:
* I fired a moss arrow at the floor of the bar near the main entrance. The moss glowed in the dark and looked weird.
Questions:
* There is a locked door near the stairs to the basement I haven't opened. Can this door be unlocked?
