Excellent FM, great job :thumb:. There were lots of things to do.
I am awaiting more TDS FMs in addition to TG and TMA FMs. They are all great to play.

Just want to say thanx for the mission. The whole theatre idea is always fun, and you've created an atmospheric wee world in there.

I've completed all the tasks (that I know of!) except for the loot objective. I have three special-loot items, but I'd like the find the fourth. As near as I can remember, I found: the hammer, the helmet, and some piece of jewelry in a box, I think.
I've gotten the three secrets.
Even so, I'm only at 83% loot, and I need 90%. Can anybody give me a hint where the last special-loot item is? And how about hard-to-find loot that I might have missed? I'm pretty sure I know what to do at the end.
Edit: Nightwalker kindly sent me a copy of the loot list, and I was able to grab two items that let me finish: the 100g painting in the office and the special loot item pagan necklace in the generator room.
I assume that after I click continue and end up back in the street, that the mission is over... even though I still have the Keeper's ring... right? I'm just back in the normal T3 sequence at that point?
Thanks,
Dafydd

This mission is of an incredible high standard and sets the mark high for future FM's. Congratulations to you and your team Rantako!
You've created a very beautiful, frustratingly difficult and very innovative mission. What I find most inspiring though, is the technical achievements;
the new arrows and the "invisible" keeper assasins.
You've shown that we can create new functionality within the game!
As an aspiring mission creator, I would love to see some sort of documentation of your work. Is there any chance that you would write an article or tutorial about you experiences with this mission?
Thanks a lot for brightening my weekend with this gem!

about the ...
new arrows
You know I found them but never even used or tried them! Why? I don't know. Better go back in and check them out.
.............................................................
Thanks, SlyFoxx,
I just enjoyed those two new T3 weapons. :thumb:
(And the details about them will follow. But as "secrets", so that others can enjoy "discovering" their new abilities.)
I have found one Light arrow and two Darkness arrows within this very fine FM. (But I really can't remember where I found them. . . Duh?) :p
And they both seem to cause their effects for about ten seconds.
The darkness-effect covers a pretty large area, including those inextinguishable lights. Like MOST EXCELLENT! (So, just go and shoot the largest light in the theatre area, to get a small idea, folks.) ;)
And if you shoot a torch, being carried by a guard or an oven fire, it will temporarily take care of those for you, also.
And the light-effect creates something like a neat little stationary will-of-the-wisp, that you've seen floating around.
Btw, my favorite "thief's flashlight" is simply drawing, but not shooting, a Fire arrow. (And then I will press and hang-onto the Escape key to "put it out" and to escape from launching it.)

I took a little time to put together a small FAQ for this mission.
I can't pick up the keys carried by the priest and his friend (in the office). Is this a bug?
No, it's not a bug per say. Rantako explains: "Those keys are actually so that they can open the office door - I just forgot to make them invisible. There's no way to pick them up."
No keys nor notes are ever added to my gear/mission items/loot - is it a bug?
This must be considered a bug, and a very stupid implementation. Unlike all other missions for Deadly Shadows, you have to select and use the keys in this FM, in the same way you use flashbombs and other items. The keys are in your inventory, but you can't see them in the menus, nor get to them by traditional means. You have to go to your options->input settings, and assign buttons to cycle forward and cycle backward. With these buttons you can then browse you're inventory and find the keys. You have to USE the key on the door/crate, as if you wanted to throw them.
The same goes if you want to read the notes you pick up. Cycle through the inventory 'till you find it, and then "throw" it.
Where are all the keys?
The "first" key is on a shelf in the cleaning closet, close to the sleeping man. (don't know for sure what it is for. vents?)
The "second" key is behind the portrait in the small room, also next to the sleepin man. (used to open the attic chest)
The "third" key is the ring you're handed by the keeper that rescues you from your cell. (used to open ventilation grates and unlock the exit in the sewers)
The "fourth" key is probably the key you pick up in the locked room back-stage. (used to unlock the office I presume)
There is a fifth key too, also in the locked back-stage room. It's under the pillow, and will allow you to unlock the door to get out again.
How do I get into the locked room back stage? (there's a paper nailed to the wall with a knife)
If you search the bookshelfs near the sleeping man, you'll find a book that'll move the shelf further down the corridor and reveal a secret ventilation grate. Get in there and you'll get to the small room and find the key. To get out of this room, look under the pillow.
How do I open the ventilation grates?
Assign buttons to cycle through your inventory (options->input), to find the key in your inventory. Then USE the key on the grate. I'm not sure which key is used for this though. I believe I used the keeper ring almost exclusively when climbing around the ventilation.
How do I get out?
You use the keeper ring on the wall lock in the sewers. This'll unlock a lever in the other end of the sewer, which will allow you to open the bars and get to the teleporter.
How do I open the chest in the attic?
With the key you find behind a portrait on the ground floor. There's a small room in the right-corner of the back of the theater. You can pick up the note about the gold helmet in there without moving the painting, so it's easy to miss the rest of the stash behind it.
How do I open the small door next to the attic chest?
The keeper ring will help you. Follow this path upwards until you reach the fan. Frob it to get to the third secret
Next to the safe, there's two levers; What does the lever next to the power-switch do?
If you've explored the ventilation on the higher floors, you will have come across a huge fan blocking your way. It seems that this lever will let you move the fan to the side and get out on the roof (third secret).
The secrets?
Button behind painting outside the office
A lever next to a bed, in the room next to the sleeping man
Move the fan in the ventilation to get out onto the roof
I've heard of custom arrows?
You can pick the dark arrows up in the little room in the sewers.
The light arrows are found in the safe on the third floor (the office).
Ulbe001's thoughts have made me notice one interesting problem with "keys".
They simply need names to make them unique and for their identification on a Loot list, later, perhaps?
And the old classic way is to simply give all of them unique "metal names".
Then these names will be completely reuseable, from game to game.
And you won't be giving away their actual usage.
And Ulbe001,
it sounds like your install of "All the World's a Stage" has a lot of problems.
(And I have seen a lot of Inventory Problems, all over certain games.)
So I looked around, listened to the probs and decided to re-install T3 for its editor. (But you don't have to use the editor for this simplier directory idea.)
(
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=101241&page=12) Please discuss GarretLoader issues in this thread
And you'll find my T3 installation, at about the middle of the page.
(Windows really should have started all of our wares at this level, but oh well!)
And something like "C:\programs" might have been
just peachy!
And BTW, did you change
anything about your installed T3 or about GL, before or after you used GL on that "All the World's a Stage" file?
Next to the safe, there's two levers; What does the lever next to the power-switch do?
It is the switch for allowing you to move the ventilator-fan, in the upper duct-work, to get to the roof section.
How do I open the chest in the attic?
With one of those long thin un-named keys.
But if you are having Inventory Problems, then all of the hints and advice in the world won't help you. . . Sorry. :(
***
Here is a BIG BTW. . .
Always use first-person view when searching.A lot of items will simply not want to glow in your third-person view.
(And those grates, along with other duct-work items, are some excellent examples to test this principle.)

Nah, there's no problems 'cept for the unpickable keys in the office. I just didn't know how to work the keys I've found, so I couldn't get anywhere.
For some reason my browser didn't update this page for me properly, so I didn't see your post 'till after my latest update. As you can see now everything is well and I've answered my own questions.

I have four functional keys and a Keeper's Ring, in my inventory, that need to be individually selected and then directly used with the Use action key. (So, maybe adding something in the game docs about that unique trick might be handy in the future?)
But the only thing that I needed around that office was some reading material and pressing one tiny hidden-switch, under the desk. (And using the first-person view, along with Garrett couching, is definitely a good idea there, folks.)
