Thanks you two, I was just about to fix it myself... had a busy weekend. :bored:

Hi, I play this mission and I stuck. I'm in the garden of St. Yora after I shoot an Arrow to the wrecking ball, to save this guy. There are now three guys on the ground, which one is the one I should take to his house? And where is the house? I can't find a house near this place where a door is open.
Another question, near the cathedral is a pub and on the other side, in a corner there are two big crates and an open window. How do I get to the window? I used another small crate but can't reach it.
thanks

Have you found your fence's home in the second area? If so you would have got an objective to save the noble from the ambush....sounds like you did.
When you arrive back at St Yora's did you hear the church bell strike 3 times? This is what triggers the noble to leave his home and come to the ambush area, so you need to wait until he turns up before you cause the wrecking ball to come crashing down.....but he takes some time to arrive at the ambush area, a minute or two.
So it sounds like you may have killed the 3 thugs before the noble has turned up and he may have run away. Having said that this part of the mission is a bit buggy, so if you head off to Friehalt's home now, you may find him collapsed on the ground anywhere between his home and the Cathedral....you can't not recognise him....he's dressed in blue, has a bald head and a yellowish beard.
Alternatively I suggest you reload, play the scene again but wait till Friehalt turns up and then bring the wrecking ball down.
As for where you take him afterwards, Friehalt's home is
Head through the south arch from the church's ground, his house is at the end of the first alley on the right where there is a static guard, but you can not enter via this way, so keep heading south, and by the bridge that heads over to the Bath house, head down the steps to get to the street under the bridge. Friehalts home is at the end of the far alley
As for the window...not sure which building you are talking about....There's not a lot of loot in this mission, so check the read-me file, if there is no loot in that building I doubt whether you are meant to get into it.

Yeah, it seems a bit buggy, the first time when I try to manipulate the wrecking ball (with the dagger) it doesn't work. So I went down again and suddenly the message on screen came, mission accomplished. When I enter the church, I hear the bell, than Garrett says something like; I am in a hurry!
Ok Fortuni, thanks, I will check this, maybe I have a save before enter the church.:thumb:

One of the best missions for T3. A lot of effort must have gone into polishing everything. Nevertheless, the map was so large, exploring it became a bit tedious after a few hours. I did not feel very engaged. For the 90% loot goal on Expert, instead of spending even more time to search the whole map for the third or fourth time, I resorted to fortuni's walkthrough.
Stats:
* Expert difficulty
* 205 minutes
* 91% loot
* 1 hint needed
For the first time in T3 fan missions:
* A sequence in which the player chases a group of NPCs.
Elements I liked:
* Custom title screen in the style of T1 and T2.
* Animated intro with voiceover by a pretty good Stephen Russell imitator.
* Occasional ingame quips.
* Custom menus.
* Custom ambient music.
* Textures with subdued colors which give the environment a gritty look.
* Blue glow of frobabble objects replaced with a more subdued brown highlight.
* Garretts model is improved, especially his artificial eye.
* Excellent cityscape backdrop outside the playable area.
* The unpredictability of the patrol routes in the thieves' den made for a fun challenge.
* The map is so large I felt lost a little in certain moments, but in a good way.
* The map is intricately designed: Every single room feels like it was crafted with care and attention for detail.
* Objectives change over the course of the mission.
Could be improved:
* I understand having no loot glint was a conscious decision by the author. My personal preference would be an option to reactivate loot glint.
* More of an engine quirk than an issue with the map: When you crouch in shallow water, it seems to disappear.
* The guard at Friehault Mansion who is sitting in front of a victrola got up, admonished me for entering private property, and then sat down again at another place, without a chair. He was floating in the air.
* In the far east of the "Still on the Trail of a Fence" part of the map, if you mantle up a door onto the roof of a shed, from there onto a ledge below a window, and then jump while looking north, the buildings below disappear mid-jump and you can see beyond the map's boundaries. The player is obviously not supposed to get to that ledge.
Hints needed:
* Found only 83% loot and used fortuni's walkthrough to read up on the location of three more items.
