this is only my second FM i have started, the first was "Keeper".
and again, it isn't showing the objectives!
i know they have been posted in here (just above! lol), but geeze, it would be SO much better to have them show where they are supposed to show!
is there something wrong w my T3 install or????

now i am about to give up on this FM!
stacking boxes was hard nuff in "Keeper", it's damn near imposs in "Hotel"!
i am in that little storeromm w the grate above, and i am trying my damnedest to stack high nuff to go up thru, but i am getting sick of it not letting me and VERY sik of hearing constant "uh uh's"

twas a royal PITA, but i did it - eventually (3 xtra strength tylenol later!)

i am in the "Lounge", just after getting the South Wing door all the way open, and i just can NOT seem to be able to get more than just one of the 2 small boxes to stack on the large one in the teeny tiny room on the same side as the unfrobbable door to the "pub" (the right side of the "Lounge just past the Lounge door)
no matter where i stand when i try to stack the 2nd small one on top of the first (which i stacked onto the big one) i get that damned "uh uh"!!!
this has gotten so aggravating that i even resorted to searching for a "noclip" cheat (i usually do NOT use cheats!), but of course, there are none! :erg:

i really have almost had it - i have returned to one of the hammer rooms in the main part of the hotel, like this thread said to, and am trying to mantle up stacked boxes , like was said, but, i cannot stack more than 2 of the small boxes on top of ea other and 2 just does'nt give me enough blasted hieght to mantle up into the attic area i see there!
this difficulty in damn box stacking is driving me freakin NUTZ!
UPDATE:
OMfreakinG, i did it! it only took my going back to the old pub, back up onto the balconey, back up into the attic there, throwing the 3 small boxes that are up there down thru trapdoor, throwing them again down to bottom floor of pub, then lugging em thru the crawlspace, lugging them to the room, and using my new discovery of getting into position then JUMPING UP AND QUICKLY DROPPING THE DAMN BOX! in order to build a freakin tower of babel (by now it would be the tower of babbling, as in babbling loon!) AND THEN, mantling - with a damn crouch thrown in cuz there just was'nt enuff headspace for a reg mantle!
arghhh, i signed on to be a thief, not a seebee (CB - Construction Brigade,US army engineer corps), or an Evil Knieval roadie assigned to ramps!!!

yes, u can't let yurself be seen fully, my solution was my usual, hide in shadow (dark lightgem), throw an object down the corridor on the left(i used a goblet from Garrett's room) to make him and the female servant investigate, then wait till they have calmed down, the female will usually stand near where she was sitting and u can CAREFULLY cosh her w the blackjack then stash her sumwhere dark, then repeat this and patiently wait for the chance to cosh the guy w the candle when he has calmed, u often have to try a few times and sumtimes u gotta move fast to accomplish the KO, don't worry about the body being seen if there's a guard also nearby, more important that YOU not be seen!
the grate in Garrett's room has been mentioned in here, but to reiterate -

i finally did what i thought i could'nt, and i now have the helm, but am at only 86% loot!
there's a chest i still can't open in the first of the nobles rooms, when u go up thru the trapdoor, the room has a round dome skylight type window. where's the key for that chest?
and there was a mention of searching for loot in the rafters of the old pub well, HUH?
i saw no rafters that were'nt flush w the ceiling, so how could anything be on them? there WERE some support braces on the corners - and i looked, did'nt see anything a sittin in the V of those!

I´m stuck in the forbidden quarter, i´m in a room that has a door half open, i can see a corridor through it, but can´t open the door or pass it between the gap, this room also leads to an outside area, where there is two cityguards, one archer and another by the fire, i also hear pagan voices above this room, i´ve tried to find a tiny switch in the empty fireplace or the empty bookshelf...but nothing, there is also a table and a large sit, but it seems it hides nothing, there´s also a movable small crate and a few bones on the floor, what´s my next step? :confused:
