The diary of the previous hotel owner falls into Garrett's hands. The diary tells about secrets that a thief couldn't even imagine. This news compels Garrett to go on a night adventure...Changes:- changed architecture.
- fixed some zoning problems.
- added new rooms, objectives, objects, music, textures.
Known Bugs: - No French language as Russian is instead of it.
- I would also recommend avoiding quicksaving. This may cause some known glitches. Please use hard save slots instead.
- If the game crashes on loading, add the content of "user_patch.ini" to your "user.ini file":

Thank you for the update and all your hard work putting it togther. There are a lot more areas to explore in this new version and it looks and sounds fantastic.

I have 2 objectives left:
1. Find Ruyan's scepter.
2. Find Ruyan's Jem.
The scepter should be logically somewhere near Ruyan's ghost but I cannot find it. Where is it?
I guess the Jem is in the Thietma's office. But I cannot find the key to the Landlord Office in the abandoned wing. Where is it?
Is there a place where I can get more flashbombs, fire arrows or holy water? I have found only 1 flashbomb and 1 firearrow. Can I steal fire arrows from the guard near the exit?

Strange that I actually crashed few portraits but it seems that I didn't crash the correct one. :rolleyes:
Anyway, I had quite fun with this Ruyan. I even lured some NPCs to fight him but he is tough. I like the mighty freak hammer haunt with wand. :D He ate 2 mines and 1 fire arrow. Tough guy. However, at Normal I was able to sneak behind his back and steal the exit key while he was sitting.
Very cool new design! Thanks for simplifying the climbing process by putting ladders at the tough places. It is great that you have added so much new rooms. The story is very good. This is what I call an enjoyable mission! :thumb:
BTW: The Roman numeral for 4 is IV. ;) I like the new textures, too! From the first moment I entered the mission I was fascinated by the textures. The whole place smells beautiful. The teared wallpapers are great!

I have just completed this excellent mission, but did not find if there was a way into the part of old hotel where that loud knocking sound is coming from - the sound appears to be coming from behind an unopenable door just beyond the old pub. Is there a way into this part of the old hotel as I would like to find out the source of the knocking sound?

Did you find the attic above the 2nd floor of the pub? The knocking is coming from the roof of that attic. I guess it is only for a suspense.
