I was confused by it, too. As Savar said above "This button is inactive. It is for the interior." That is the only defect in this mission.
Do you need help with something specific? What are the objectives that has left?

How do I
Get above the wooden beams in Roberts house to activate the lever? I have no rope arrow and the gloves won't climb these walls:confused:

Is the key to Robert's Uncle's house on the beams of Robert's house, above the fireplace. If it is, exactly where is it? I can get up on the beams, but I see no key.

terribly hard to see.
The place is right, but the
key is hidden in some sort of cavity on top of the beam.
I recall having had problems with that myself - although I knew about it's whereabouts already when plaing it last time.

If, by cavity, you mean the short tunnel that leads to the bedroom, there is nothing there.
Well, without the key, I can't continue the mission. Anyone else have any suggestions?
