The pagan won't buy the scepter. Is it something that has to be picked up in this mission? Or was the scepter carried over from a previous mission?

Yes. This is the scepter of the "Hotel". You have to "sell" him the Pagans.

Thanks Savar, I can't seem to find the lockpick set. I went to every door, bush, wall, etc. I got into the church balcony I found 1 arrow. Spent hours on this and couldn't continue. Any help would be nice. I read where you say in a chest where the lady is sleeping but couldn't find her either.

i just wanted to thank savar for another great mission. i had a lot of frustration at first because i could basically go nowhere, but then i watched the video on how to obtain the lockpicsk, and from that point on i LOVED it ;-)
i especially liked the music choices, and the stone statue, that gave me quite a scare :)
all in all another great mission, and probably the first savar mission that i managed to find 98 % loot in ;-)
edits:
another thing i liked was the TELEPHONE - what a hilarious thing to see in thief. and of course the painting of silas - that was creepy too :)

Thanks for this cool mission! Climbing was a bit difficult though ;)
Also I couldn't get out of the pit with the enforcer, once the grid shut from itself.
Didn't find how to find the "reason of the massacre" objective, although I read about the guy's note in his room.
And a lot of loot missing, as usual for me !

Great mission Savar...oh bugger, I knocked out the pagan :nono: I guess I have broken the level as I wont be able to sell him anything now...except maybe some aspirin.:laff:
