Playing on expert and can see only the loot objective.
Can anybody tell me what the other objectives are, as I only see a white square on the left. Thanks
Flux on 12/1/2008 at 12:42
Sorry, This is English only, I'm waiting for translations.
Here are main objectives. (there will be others as well)
1) Enter Mansion. 2)Find information about why Cabot got rich recently.
After that I'll post you more if you wish.
Sorry for the confusion.

I don't know if its a bug, but there's something strange:
Right after the games starts, in the first house you can enter, on the right side of the street with that note placed close to the door.
Inside it, there's a safe. When I select it and right-click, nothing happens. But as I moved to the right side of the safe and clicked again, I gained loot, 2 times but the safe was still shut.
Is this a bug or always the way safes worked in TDS (it's been a while since playing TDS...)?
No, it's not a bug with TDS. I simply forgot to drop frob sizes of those loot. I mean, I should have fixed it but I wasn't expecting anyone to frob a safe from sides other than front:)

Tha Flux, this is enough for now. I'm really enjoying this although I haven't been plying TDS for quite a while so I must get used to it again..........:D
A question just to refresh my mind: If I got i.e. a key in my inventory I don't need to search for it in order to use, as in T2, right?
And a game question: in the cellar
there's a door with the handle in vertical position, which means the door is already open. When I click on it I just hear the door sound but it won't open. Is it right, do I need a key I don't have already?
BTW I truly love the atmosphere, very very nice mission!:thumb:

Thanks Maga;
Yes, if you have the right key, the door will open automatically, don't worry about your inventory.
For the cellar key;
I assume you don't have its key yet. If you complete first two objectives than you'll get the key for the cellar. After that more objectives will trigger.

Nice T3 mission. It's nice to have a larger area to explore without loading each area.
I have done all the objectives except the loot one, but i have a single door left that i can't open. It's the one on the top floor to the right of the stairs. I have searched high and low but can't seem to find the key needed for that one. Can anyone help please?

That should be easy....I thought....and I'm not one of the brightest players around.
Have a closer look into the houses around.
I really cannot find it...........any more specific clue pls?:angel:

I finaly finished this great mission. I only had 2 problems. One was that I felt it was a litttle too dark as others have said, but you can't please everyone so no biggie.
The other was a bug I think. In the store with the safe and chest, when I lock picked the chest and went to open it, I somehow fell through the floor into a dark box like room with stars and had to restart.
So when is the sequeal coming out?

P.S. Elusive one, I think the key you are looking for is
either in the dining room on a shelf, or in the first area to your right as you enter the mansion. You go upstairs and it on a book shelf in a library area with 2 desks and a couple of people.
I hope this helps!
P.P.S. Maga I had a bit of trouble there too as the darkness hides doors very well.
From the police station, once you walkthrough the archway heading away, go to the wall straight ahead, there is a door. Inside is the guys girlfriend and the key is next to her journal.
OMG, there it was...........:cheeky:

Thank you, it was in the second place you mentioned.
That got me to 71% loot allowing me to finish.

Hmm... Well, on expert I finished all the objectives and as far as I know went everywhere but only have 69% of the loot, which I find hard to believe. Anyone know of any hard to spot, out of the way loot I could be missing?
