Flux, I cannot find even one centavo more than 71%. I have already gotten all the loot mentioned in this thread (including those two pieces of loot in bushes)... where the heck is the other 29%?
Thanks,
Dafydd

Jah, search that area Dafydd gave you a hint how to get to. That will lead you to more loot. Because,
there is key around there that will open up the door closest to the stairs in the top floor of the mansion.
Thanks. I guess I should crank up the brightness settings - I never noticed that door at all! :o
I know I found the loot in
the bushes in the garden. I've checked all the bushes in the streets on both sides of the mansion, but don't see anything. Where is it supposed to be? Maybe I picked it up already and just can't remember...
@Cardia: Latest version of GarrettLoader? Do you have the T3Editor? I ran into crashes every time I did not run the real game (for kind of testing) after using the editor. One Auldale savegame, installing the FM, running it from GL, then it worked.

Did you get
all the loot from npcs around? They carry lots of valuables. Also the tavern has some loot.
Actually with me there was only one girl who had a purse as loot with her. Is it possible that in TDS FMs as was with the OMs the loot of NPCs is random and if you have bad luck, you won´t get enough?
If that is so, can this random thing not be deactivated? I mean I also found only 69%, scoured the whole place thoroughly and am sure, I checked everyone. Do you mean, that 31% of missing loot goes on NPCs? ;)
Jah on 16/1/2008 at 16:08
Considering that so many of us are missing almost one third of the loot, I suspect there's either something wrong with the loot count, or there's one fairly large area in the mission we've missed completely. I seem to recall two AI's near the beginning of the mission (one woman and one man) who carried a purse - I'm sure I've checked out everyone, so I doubt that would explain the missing 31%.

Flux, Needing only 1% of the loot to finish
You have to mug npcs to get some loot from them. There is some loading tip about it. Some of them carry other valuables than just a purse, like bracelet, neckless, even an eyeglass on a npc counts as loot.
Sorry, if this is a unpleasant playing style for some. Original missions had it, so I put it too. I could have disabled this script about npcs carrying loot.

Jah, this indeed interesting, as then you have at least found one purse more than I did. Seems at least, that my "theory" about the random purses on NPC´s is right :) Bad luck then, if one purse or loot is not in the game, especially if it is crucial for the loot goal, right?

At least in the OM's, those bracelets, necklaces and such are still visible. I don't see any loot on the NPC's, not even the kind that can't be pickpocketed. Could you give an example of someone who carries loot that needs to be mugged?
