I haven't yet finish to download it (dialup), but I know people run the current version succesfully with GL. Maybe newest version of GL causes the problem, or perhaps texture pack or minimalist project conflicts with it.. :confused: I'll check tomorrow, I haven't minimalist or texture pack installed.

I can't imagine why this should 'cause an error like that because those mods only modify content, which is already there, so it should still load up properly I think.
Lightningline, what das the error message say? Is it something like "can't read 0x543246" ?

@Lightningline
I got around this problem by installing anoter T3-FM and then "Evicted"-FM again.

I think most of the issues are down to the user.ini file, the one in the FM zip is a user.ini file rather than a user_patch.ini file. So if you have any language settings or other settings in your user.ini file these are automatically wiped by the one in the zip (they are restored by installing another FM though). The user_patch.ini process for GL ready FMs was to allow the original settings to remain intact and only to update what was actually required, rather than to use the authors own game settings (which would fail on some PCs due to ammount of memory, CPU speed, etc).
Also there is a default.ini file as well in the zip which does cause a bit of conflict with the user.ini file.
The next release of this FM should be much more stable.

I'm having the Lockpicks problem too. I gave her the cash, she said :"she was happy I'm doing my purchase in her store and she wants an autograph "or something" for a friend who has the same name as her. But it's truly a coincidence."
How lovely, now could you give me please my lockpicks ? :joke:
I'm looking forward for a new version of this interesting FM :thumb: . I have no crash playing it or during install with GL, no big performance issues. Just a little darker than others, no big deal.

The lock pick problem is fixed!
I was finally able to duplicate it on my desktop computer and fiddled with the script on my laptop until I got it to work correctly on the desktop. I'm still not sure why it works on my laptop unless scripts are handled differently if you have the editor installed.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to upload the mission until next week because I'm on long-distance dial-up this week. :nono: So until then, I'll use my time to dress the game up a bit and see if I can improve the performance. :cool:

Yep thats how I did it too. Haven't much time to play yet, so the lock picks problem has not been encountered yet. Will look out for a fix next week maybe. Looks very pretty though.:thumb:

It's coming along nicely. I got the lockpicks fixed and made it look a lot better, too. I also redistributed the wealth and added a map (which was a serious pain in the ***! :p ) I'm going to put it through a lot more beta testing while I'm waiting to release it, so hopefully, it won't have any more serious bugs. (I still hate the fact that the objectives disappear in the middle of the mission, but I haven't found a way around that.)
