This is a mission for T3 (boo, hiss) that I've got mostly finished. Its a pretty small map
Isn't that redundant? Maps the size of postage stamps is what T3 is about... You'd almost think it was half-life not thief.

So here's the deal. I'm working on the continuation of the story, and I have a question for everyone. As stated before, it will take about 300 years for me to finish the whole thing at this rate, so my plan is to release bits at a time when they're done. Like I've put up the first mission, and I could just keep finishing the missions and releasing them as individual files, but this means totally ignoring the city sections I've been working so hard on.
The alternative is to release slightly more completed versions each time, for example the next part would be missions 1 and 2 plus the city sections connecting them. But this leads to the file size getting massive, and it means you have to play the whole thing over again every time I get of my ass and add something new.
So opinions? preferences?
I probably a little late, but releasing each mission as you've done it would be good for me, because replaying all the other missions I've already done would be frustrating, and make older ones boring very quickly. Unless you could include a savegame at the end of part one or something to copy into the appropriate folder.
The mission itself however, was very enjoyable. I really liked how you
added extra bits to the city and changed things that were familiar from the OMs. And
playing a pagan with the spell? I really liked that.Very much looking forward to part 2!

This mission is awesome! Thank you, CrackedGear! You are now one of my top favorite TDS FM authors. Your skills and imagination are incredible! Although the whole mission is truly a masterpiece I would like to compliment you in particular on the amazing architecture and great interiors. Also it was nice to see the AI falling a sleep after it was waken up. I hope you finish Silence Part 2 soon. You have a talent. Thank you once again for the amazing hours spent playing this mission! :)

Stats (The Captain's Manor):
* Expert difficulty
* 45 minutes
* 96 % loot
* 0 hints needed
Elements I liked:
* You play as Whisper, a Pagan woman. You see her likeness in the title screen, in the menus, in the loading screens, and ingame.
* In this mission, Auldale has been conquered by Pagans. You get to see that part of the original game transformed.
* The books in this mission are well written. I especially liked the story of the soldier and The Builder.
* The façade City surrounding the perimeter of The Captain's Manor looks stunning. This is the first time in T3 fan missions I have seen it pulled off this well. It is best viewed from the balcony of captain Carter's bedroom.
* On expert difficulty, you are forced to ghost the mission. I usually don't ghost missions, but because of how well the patrol routes are set up, it was a fun challenge.
Elements that could be improved:
* I never liked the depiction of the Pagans in Deadly Shadows. This mission also presents them as primitive magic users with an odd dialect. There is nothing mysterious or frightening about their depiction here.
* The new character, despite being a woman, uses the sound files of Garrett.
* The graphics for the light spell in the inventory could be better. It is an animated green glow and looks slightly out of place among other items.
* A person in the shack immediately north of the starting location in The Captain's Manor floats slightly above their bed.
* The journal of captain Carter's wife goes on too long. It would have been possible that convey the story in less pages.
* Once, a guard got stuck in a narrow corridor on the first floor of The Captain's Manor because an opened door was blocking his way.
* Instead of an onscreen message "Thanks for playing! Press Esc to go back to the title menu", I would have preferred a proper stats screen.
* This mission has another instance of the glowing bar of soap. Why do authors keep putting this odd item in their missions?
Special loot:
* Cat statuette above fireplace in the room where the captain’s wife is sitting on the sofa.
* Diamond ring in murky water below three pipes in the sewers. The sewers can be accessed via a hole in the shack north of the starting location.
* Diamond necklace wedged between rocks under a tree in the garden east of The Captain's Manor.
