But what would a Thief universe bear look like. Surely not a real bear. Take a look at the mounted heads and the burricks and the other creature AIs. They aren't from our universe. A bearish creature can fit the Thief universe, but it wouldn't be a bear, just bearish, the way that the burrick is lizardish.

Yikes that's a tough road to go down. Then you start going why are they speaking english? Why tudor housing? .... and on. Sometimes you just gotta look the other way. Like GoT did when it referenced something being from France.
