Sounds like a bug intruder. That shouldn't happen and it never happened during beta testing. Perhaps a reload will fix it. If not, just be sure to do everything else first and then if the mission fails you can consider it complete because the only objective left at that point is to leave.

I tried all the things you proposed but it didn't solve the problem. But I completed all other tasks and found the secret way out so I consider the mission as done. Appart from that bug I really enjoyed the mission :thumb:

Same thing happened to me, just mage died after codex was destroyed, both women were blackjacked before it.
But it is very interesting and atmospheric FM, thanks for the author :thumb: I liked recorded sample of music too, it was new and funny idea. :)

The two mask witches (?) and the master all died at once for me, and none were listed as killed or damaged in the stats. They were not alerted at the time of the event (or ever). So, the alert status theory holds water with me.

They were alerted when I played, because I hit them with my blackjack, same for the master, yet all went right, the objective was satisfied and all. :) I think that it's an unfortunate bug. :(

I went back and got the last 150 loot, finishing with Perfect Thief (ghost + all loot). :) All objectives checked, and no damage.

The key word here is
blackjacked. If someone dies after you've blackjacked them you are always considered responsible, even if you didn't kill them directly. Because, after all, if you drop an unconscious body into a pool of water, while you aren't killing them directly, you
are putting them into a situation that causes their death.
Nice little mission, though a few elements were disparate, particularly the red plastic lanterns that the guards carried, and the
fire mage skin on an ex-Keeper. The hunting for miniature hidden levers was also very frustrating, I was about to give up on the
sun mask before I finally found the lever, and I only found it by the age-old method of frobbing every square millimeter of the room...
Still 60 loot short of the objective, it must be around here somewhere...
Edit: found it.
Some hard-to-spot loot:
A mask on the face of a statue in the hall near the servants' quartersA ring on the windowsill near the stairs on that same floor

I felt the same at first, but then I thought about it and realized that
if I were kicked out of an order or fired from a job, would I still wear the uniform?Still though, I'm not sure that a
fire mage skin was the way to go.
Nameless Voice on 7/12/2008 at 20:24
Exactly. Of course, my first expectation was for him to be wearing a Keeper outfit, or a noble outfit... but a fire mage? Only a member of the Hand Brotherhood should really have one of those. An ex-Keeper wearing one just doesn't feel right.
The fact that he talked like Constantine was also a bit strange...

That was excellent and fun!! Thanks. ;)
