Very nice small mission with unforgetable environment and playing experience:thumb: Stuckings in "geometry" happenned sometimes with me but definitely they didn't ruin gameplay.

i THINK the crayman nearby needs to be alive and well for anything to happen.

Well I have the same problem as Mirko, the proper scripts are there - and to be sure I replaced them again with the ones from the zip.
But I can't take
the claw
no matter how often I frob it and I can't pass through the safe door. So I'm helplessly stuck at the moment.
I also don't encounter the other phenomenons mentioned above. The pieces of the mushrooms are still glowing, making even more trouble then the whole thing. No ground shaking or other effects...
BTW: The No-Delay-Objective is still there and NOT red marked - as it should be as I have realized just now.
Please help!

All the things that you've listed as not working are effects that require NVScript.osm, so there must be an issue with it not loading that script module correctly.
You could check the script_module_path in your darkinst.cfg to make sure that it is pointing to the right folder (e.g. your Thief 2 game folder).
trix on 7/12/2008 at 10:24
The darkinst path seems to be correct.
Interestingly it's the same problem with EVERY of my three different installings of T2 (including the german version). Could it be a darkloader problem then (I'm using 4.3)?

Are you using Vista? I seem to recall hearin about some issues with custom scripts and Vista. The thing is, othere contest missions use custom scripts too - have you had any issues with those?
Mirko on 7/12/2008 at 14:46
I still have the same problem. :(
My darkinst.cfg is correct and I have Windows XP.
But I'm using DarkLoader 4.3 just like trix, could that be the problem?
Nameless Voice on 7/12/2008 at 15:43
DarkLoader 4.3 is the most recent version? I'm using that too (well, technically (
http://whoopdedo.org/projects.php?dl) v4.3.1) and don't have this issue.
Anyway, didn't you try manually installing NVScript into the T2 folder? That should bypass any issues with DarkLoader.
