I have read all three messages that have the puzzle in them but when I try to find them in the map none of them are in there?? What am I doing wrong? or can someone give me the code by PM or spoiler tag.:confused:

the are added pages, so if you go to the map you'll have to arrow over to them. worked flawlessly for me.

Ottoj55 there are no arrows like on most multi page maps?
Edit: OK I went back and read the third one and then opened the map and now all three are there ???

on expert all three will be visible, after all you have no ability with this set up to know if you read them on a previous part, so on expert all three are loaded assuming that you read them on part 1 and 2.

I must be an idiot, but I'm in Part 1 and can't figure out what metal item to use to short out the power in the basement.
I know there's a toolbox with a screwdriver in it somewhere, but haven't foudn it yet. Hints please?

Yandros -- right up in the attic. You will need a rod to open the hatches and get up there; IIRC it is either in the cellar or the ground floor.

I'm at the end of pt 1, and outside the inn. All other objectives accomplished. I go to the well and nothing happens. What am I missing?
