Maybe someone made that third eye with a pickaxe, though. :p Looks good, I just wonder what it would look like with the brush strokes going horizontally or according to the walls in perspective. It might give some more...focus or tension or something but honestly I've never been a painter myself.

As Beleg said, strokes of the brush are more significant than expected so it's always wise to mind them.
(1. I shouldn't say so because I don't care about the brush strokes myself :tsktsk: and

I was thinking what the creature could be and I imagined that can be some sort of underground species that locates objects around by hearing like bats do with a sonar. This means that this creature can see you and hear you in darkness so you can hide only in places with loud sound like near a generator to cover your “sound” image or behind walls only. Shadows could not work only a cover system.
