I do like the icy blue version better.

Speaking for myself, I think I'm slowly getting tired of those overly (digitally-) graded images, just like with those unnaturally cool posing heroes. So I'd vote for the second. :p

I like the first picture better than the second, but I like that one too! We are talking about fantasy here. Fantasy and video games is first and foremost a creative outlet, or escape from reality. If unnaturally cool heroes is not what you are into, then why employ video games in the first place? :p

I thought "slowly getting tired" was clearly referring to the amount of color-graded images and super-cool hero posing and not the things themselves.

Nice march! The following is my opinion, not as a musician but as a consumer of music (audio/video editing and voice acting; is it bad that I usually listen to music in Audacity so I can see the wave form?).
0-45: opening section is dark and ominous
46-1:55: second section is more cheerful
1:55-2:10: clear bridge to 3d section
2:10-end: third section is a variation on the opening, with bits of the second passage included, and an outro that finishes the song well
The melody has a downturn at 2:42 where you are bridging two passages, but my reaction was "what was that?"
As an audio editor, I particularly like how one could cut off the first passage and still have a complete song, if he needed something shorter.

Here's an old sketch, I never got around finishing it-
It looks finished to me. Good work!

Pretty cute, but I got a question: why does Garrett hold the sword by the blade rather than hilt? It sorta hurts, methinks ;/
