ROTFL, this is brilliant, the guard quotes just crack me up.
Now what would be uber cool is if there was an "Ai Garrett" and you were to actually be a citywatch, builder or guard "on patrol" in each of the missions.

Well, I don't know anything about how to program that into the game, but for now, I'm perfectly happy with what we've got now. :D

That's... actually quite funny. I first clicked on the Bafford Manor video, and in the beginning I couldn't tell it was actually Garrett speaking the lines, but as I watched more it became apparent what was going on.:laff:
Reminds me of Thievery UT, where thieves were pitted against guards. This would actually be an interesting twist for a T2 FM, but it'd require Thief 2's multiplayer patch. Or, well, I guess some scripted thief AIs could be put in on your patrol, but it wouldn't be quite compelling compared to an actual player sneaking about.
*ponders if this idea could actually work in Thief 2 multiplayer.*
I noticed you actually have two threads for this.. Err, you could have just kept this all in one thread.

I know. This is that one thread. I've moved everything to here. :)

Ryan, could you tell me how it is that you actually made the guards not attack you on site? I'd like to try it myself. Just PM me with the details. Thanks.
Edit:
Actually, I'd take a guess that you used the well house guard from Bafford's as a reference. Is that right? Did you perhaps remove the guard threat response if you raise your weapon at one? By default the wellhouse patrolling guard will attack you if you pull your sword out and start swinging it.

In which case, I'm removing the other thread.

Will it be only one guard's voice, or of all guard characters'?

All of them. :) I'm just starting with this one.
