TafferPatcher <-> T2 Multiplayer

Whenever i update my Thief via the TafferPatcher the thiefmp.exe crashes on loading.

Are TafferPatcher amd T2 Multiplayer not compatible?

I only want to play Multiplayer with a higher resolution or textures, are there work arrounds to make it work?

Checked further. It's neither ddfix nor multiplayer issue. It's same old codec problem. Some codec on your system (most likely ffdshow) has a setting not to taff around with thief2.exe, but thief2mp.exe is not mentioned of course. Renaming thief2mp.exe to thief2.exe will fix the issue, so will renaming MOVIES folder do. But it's better to find the faulty codec and put thief2mp.exe in its exclusion list too. For example, ffdshow has an optional setting to work only with trusted applications, but this setting just doesn't work, only exclusion list does.

Thanks for the response.

However its not the movie. Renaming the Movies folder doesnt work.

btw thief2.exe boots up (not the multiplayer .exe)
but thief2mp.exe crashes,

Renaming thiefmp.exe to thief.exe also doesnt solve anything for me.

Is there some specific settings in Taffer that i should check/uncheck?

I managed to reproduce the crash in Vista. It works with ddfix 1.5.5 but doesn't work with 1.5.11. So it's better to downgrade ddfix to 1.5.5 when using Multiplayer for now until I come up with better solution.
