I do not have side buttons. By your description my mouse is a 3 button including mouse wheel. The other was supposed to be a scroll button but I never use it. I even had to uninstall the drivers and let windows run it just to make it work. Maybe I will get lucky with the next version of Taffinmouse.

you dont need to uninstall your drivers. :confused:
is the third button CLICKING the scroll wheel? because thief1 supports the first 3 mouse buttons: left click, right click, and middle click (or scroll wheel click)

My buttons would not work right at all with the drivers installed. Support told me to uninstall them and let windows run it. Now everything works as it should, wierd I know.
Yes my wheel also is a button and pressing it scrolls the inventory. I wish your program could work so I can just spin the wheel instead of pressing it.

Yes, I did....
But I forgot about this thread... I figured out that when I go to the controls, I can bind pgdup(scroll wheel up when i move the mouse) and pgdwn (scroll wheel down when i move the mouse) and then it works. I set it for the next item, previous item controls.
