I just wanted to say Thank you So Much!!! for this mission...it was fab I lovesd the attention to all the little details and I was enthralled right from the start when I saw the "October Gear"....I knew this was going to be fun!
I liked especially...and had many chuckles....
The star chart of Burrickopaeia!...I think it should have been scorpio not sure.. but I like Burricka-Major better..haha
October Gear as mentioned...the smutty calender girls for Mechs at the start
Creepy Body in elevator water holding valve
Table glued to the back of a trap-door
Poor howling Skelly when you kick his sword
Mirror Mirror....
the nightshirts on the guard still in his helmet
and of course matilda and her bug feast....I could feel the innosence of the child when I read her diary telling of the mushroom poison and killing the bugs....so thoughtful
Well Done Indeed!

Okay; I'm on the last leg here. And I'm 4 short on loot! Can you stand it???!!! Here I go through all the hassle of having to fight that zombie-mama TWICE, mind you, (she just wouldn't stay down - go figure!) (and you'll never know what that cost me in willpower alone) ;) and complete all the objectives and I end up a stinkin' 4 short on loot!
I know I've got to have all of the goblets (especially from the outdoor balconies), any loose change that was lying around (even found the spare coins on the table down in the guards' locker room), a couple rings; I also got the blue chest behind the painting in one of the attics and the sword from the coffin. But after running through the entire house about four times after all other objectives were completed (except the zombie's place in the basement and I'm NOT going back there since I think I nailed everything there was to nail) I just don't know where else to look. Oh; and I also found the stack of coins in the boathouse attic.
What'd I miss please?

Did you find:
The tapestry in the boathouse attic
The ring in the library
The ring in Lord Hunters room
Some of the goblets on the balconies which don't look like lootThese are some of the harder to spot ones.
(
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1821230#post1821230) Balboa posted a loot list on the previous page.
Dia on 17/2/2009 at 23:10
Yep; I got all those. I know that I missed the nuggets during my escape from the room that filled with water (didn't even know there were any til after I escaped & read through this thread again), but I'm hoping there's at least 4 more in loot lying around somewhere. I'd really like to finish this one. It's become a matter of principle you know.
Tannar on 17/2/2009 at 23:12
You can go back and get those nuggets. Just swim under the dock in the boathouse, the entrance to that tunnel is there.
Balboa on 17/2/2009 at 23:19
Nope. If Dia is only 4 short on loot, and playing on expert, she is missing 117. Assuming she didn't get the pocketwatch in the gatehouse, that leaves 17, which just happens to be the amount of coppers that Dorcas has stashed in her footlocker in the attic.
Or maybe 12 in silver in a guard's footlocker, along with a small martini glass (you found the olives, right, and the Vermouth :joke:), or a luncheon plate, or one of the nesting Cacopic dolls. But my money's on the 17 in the attic.
Or, you could download the loot list.
You will be happy to know that there are NO ZOMBIES in Ladytaker. Honest!
Anything else you don't like.

Oh, and don't be too hard on Winifred. It's not easy being dead. And she still has an important part to play in this story.
Not that you have to be anywhere in the vicinity. :tsktsk:

Just read your posts Balboa. Not to worry; I'm mostly joking about Winnie. (Sort of.) ;) I'm VERY glad to hear that your next FM will be zombie-free!!! And that, my dear sir, is the ONLY thing I didn't much care for. Truth!!!
THANKS TANNAR!!! I had looked for the opening under the dock before, but I guess I gave up too easily!! Nabbed just one of those nuggets & nailed that objective.
Funny thing: I was sooooo frustrated that while I whiling away some time (in the boathouse) before someone could give me a hint as to where more loot could be found, I started shooting water arrows up at the searchlight and shorted the damn thing out!!!. GREAT affects there, Balboa! Everything went pitch-black for a moment and I said out loud, 'Oh great! Of course now I've broken the bloody FM and will NEVER be able to finish!!!' Then after I got the nugget & fulfilled the loot objective the game gave me the objective to get rid of the searchlight. Almost makes up for having to go down into that zombie's basement apartment (twice!)!
GREAT FM Balboa! I like it when objectives keep getting added to a good FM as you go along. LOVED the book in the bathroom off the kitchen, 'The Thief & His Wife'! Nice touch!
There was only one minor detail I didn't quite like: THE FRACKIN' ZOMBIE!!!!! But since there was only one and it didn't appear until the FM was almost over, I persevered. Other than that one niggling little thing I enjoyed this FM very much! Thanks for all your hard work, Balboa; much appreciated! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
Expect to hear more whining from me in the future about how I had to fight a zombie twice but quite nobly persevered. :p

bluclint, it's in
the glass case in the same room. sorry but
in the glass case I do not see other fruit to take, beyond the bug nest.
Tannar on 18/2/2009 at 11:30
bluclint - It is the bug nest that you want. There is no fruit.
