If you have all the other objectives complete the rope that ties the boat to the dock should be frobbable.

I figured it out now. It was kind of confusing because the only other objective not complete was not letting Benny die and untying the boat so I thought I should be able to leave, but I had not gone back inside and into the room in the kitchen where I could go down to where Nathan was and where the room with water was. Then I was able to get back to the boat dock where the tie was then frobbale

Good mission, nice bit of detective story. I actually had the pleasure of hearing Beethoven's 7th symphony in concert recently.
Out of curiosity,
was Nathan Hunter one of the prisoners listed in Cragscleft from Dark Project?
One large gripe, however:
the loot requirement on expert is too high. After playing Thief for more than a decade, I have no desire to be forced to find 98% of the loot in a mission before I can finish. It's just not interesting to me. In your second mission, I recommend lowering that percentage to around 80%, and if anyone wants to go hunt all the loot, that's fine.
No. Perhaps someone in the order
accidentally left his name off the list.

Thanks for the input. This was discussed in beta testing.
In the end, I left the loot totals as they were, since the readme said that the only difference in difficulty levels was loot. Maybe 98% was a bit excessive. Fortunately, Ladytaker is completely different in that regard.

hello.
I'm stuck at the beginning. Everytime I go into the Hunter house (through the coal chute door into the basement) "Disable the security system without being detected" goal ticks off as failed and the mission ends.
Am I missing something?
Tannar on 20/3/2009 at 18:15
You have to close the coal chute door after you enter or the guards outside will notice it, you will be detected and the mission will fail.

To make a long story short: This was good mission, thanks Balboa!:thumb:

I am unable to pick up the mushroom mixture, does anyone know why, must be a bug or something??
Tannar on 30/4/2009 at 18:29
jlfkit - If I recall correctly, they are not meant to be picked up. They are just there for the story and have no other use in the mission.
