Something is wrong I am not getting any new objective or objective complete sounds. Which is strange for thief 2. Only ever had this problem in thief gold missions.
How do i fix this please?:D

This is normal. Balboa replaced the usual objective complete / new objectives tone with a low "bum."

Playing this mission again and I have the same bug as lostcitizen. I frob the telescope and get objective complete...no movie and boathouse attic not opened. In fact I never got any movies frobbing the telescope or the wall one for the book area. just objective complete. Any way to fix? yes I have the latest scripts as had issue with broken triad and yandros made sure I had them.

Sometimes, but not always, it worked for me that I restarted the computer- not ideal, but at least I was able to finish the mission then. If you posted on .dml thread, it would be good to upload your quicksave there, sadly I do not have mine anymore.

Frob the antenna first, then frob the telescope. Do not save! There's is a long conversation starting then. Never save during a conversation. Wait at least 10s (you can save now), then go to the boathouse. The attic door is open.
It should work in NewDark. I just tested it.

The script for the ingame "movie" is tnhScript. There's an old version included in the zip. Maybe it's too old for your system
Get new tnhScripts (2.1) here

The other script for the conversation is just gen.osm
Maybe you've a very old version for some reasons. Here's gen.osm

Well the new tnh script worked. I can look through peep holes and the telescope worked. I would have never thought of putting it in the fm directory. I always had it in thief2 directory. Guess it needed to be in both. I gotta try this on ladytaker to see if it fixes that. I never did hear a conversation though. Thanks a bunch!

Edit: This fixed issues in both missions.

This is an amazing mission.
Does anyone know if there are any changes in the mission for difficulties except loot requirement?

wait was the froggy that i was supposed to feed the one that's in the room with the bug nest? cause i think I just shish-kabobed the poor thing with an arrow! friiiiick!
