Edit: Found out that using EAX 4.0 is causing problems. Trying to find a fix now...
What are your system specs..

Can you show us some screen shots please? I am curious to see what you are seeing. Our art assets contain nowhere near the level of specular that D3 had, which is why things looked plastic in that game. Our engine is also quite different from D3 now in terms of rendering. I simply don't know how 'everything' could still look like plastic when our assets not made to look plastic in any way, shape or form.

My question is, once it becomes standalone, your name is gonna be out of date. How can you call it The Dark Mod when it's no longer a mod?

How will it not be a Mod?

Because it will be standalone and therefore not a mod? Would you say Quake4 (ID tech 4 too) is a "mod"? You probably wouldn't.
"Mod" is still relevant to it for other reasons though, so i dont see a problem.

What Vurt said. Once it's standalone, it's as much a game as Thief, Dishonored, or any other title. In other words, it's no longer a mod for Doom 3.

It should stay The Dark Mod IMO because that sounds cool and The Dark Game sounds stupid.
Good enough reason to keep it for me. ;)
That and for continuity, to recognize its origins.

Or they could go with "The Dark", but then that'd sound like they're trying too hard to be edgy or something.
