This is a nice part of a city you´ve built Gaby, it is probably the best mission for dark mod i ever played, that house with the hammer priest is nicely done, however i still prefer you would have done a mission for thief 2, just like in the good old times, "Disorentation" remember? that´s the kind of missions i miss, and your the one who have a special talent to make typical thief 1 ambient style missions for thief 2, besides the t2 maps are bigger that the maps for dark mod, Thief 2 has a better gameplay and graphics that reminds us the thief 1 & 2 classic games. You should reconsider getting back to Dromed. Neverthless a mission for Dark mod is always welcome :D
Thanks for this enjoyable mission.
Looking foward for more :thumb:

Exactly my words :).

It was one of the very few Dark Mod missions I played and one of even fewer I actually enjoyed. The amount of things to see, do, discover and steal was tremendous for it's size. Still I wish it were bigger, especially when I think of all these hours I spend on Bad Debts or Disorientation. Ah, where are the snows of yesteryear? :tsktsk:
And I wouldn't mind if the plot was a little bit more elaborate. I mean, it was still better than in most TDM missions I played (it had a twist! Yay!), but still rather thin compared to T2 FMs.
Oh well. It was still a very good mission and definitely worth a replay. Congratulations, Melan and thank you for your effort.
Now, any hints on how I can get to the stairs behind thief-proof grate in a printing house? Should I think high or low, front or back, left or right?

You have to frob that lever through the grate, if I'm not mistaken.

Yes, I also think it is absolutely fine to compare the size and plotting of a mission built over ten days to one built over eleven months. It is a totally fair comparison!

I feel stupid now. Thank you, skacky.
What about the place above the street, the one with generator and collector tower? I thought the staircase may lead me to it, but apparently not.Quote Posted by Melan

Sorry, I wasn't aware that it was built in such a short time. And I'm still not aware of reasons behind that. But, being player, not a modder, I don't care as much about production as about actual gameplay and for now The Dark Mod - in general - fails to impress.
Fiasco and maybe two other missions are closest to what I want, but they're still somewhat lacking.
Though I still got some recommended missions to play before passing a final judgement.
