Finished a few minutes ago.
Nice atmosphere, really cool mansion mission. And was it my impression or did I heard the same music that is in Widows Moira house, in TDS?
Sounded great!
Thanks Sonosuke, had fun playing your mission :thumb:

In the library (with the nobleman walking around) next to the dining room, how do you access the secret room behind one of the bookcases? I've searched and searched for a frobbable book or secret lever, but couldn't find it. (I know there's a secret room because I used noclipping mode, hehe...).
So, can anyone help me?

You have to play on difficult and search @ the Generals table for a button. If you need more hints just ask

Thanks for this one, i enjoy playing this one, i loved the musics in some areas, it is a great thing that thief dark mod has new ambient music sounds, nice storyline . Just one remark, there should be more windows in this mansion, i felt sometimes a claustrophobic atmosphere, neverthless the design is good :thumb:
looking foward for more

Finally getting some time to play through the DM missions. Fun to be able to pick out my favourite type of mission first, and leave my less favourites for later. :) Easy missions are definitely on the list, as I'm pretty lousy with these controls. But at least most of the missions I've tried so far are fun. :)
Anyway, working through this one tonight, and I'm stuck! None of the hints on these two pages are helping much. I have explored most of the mansion, gotten my loot requirement. But still need to break into the secret room. I DO have the bookcase open, but I have not figured out how to get the 'vault' open. None of the keys I"ve tried work, I can't pick it. The book says there is no key and refers to a frobbable book. . .but didn't I just use that to get the bookcase in the master bedroom open?? If so, how does the *door* itself open? The only other 'switch" I've found is the one in the room with the palms which doesn't. . .seem that important. (Cool, but not important. :))
So, yeah. Kinda stuck. Any hints? Or outright spoilers for those of us slow to catch on? :)
Thanks!
