Is there a problem with the dark mod site, I cant get it to come up. Also the tdm updater doesnt work? :confused::( I want to play to

when the mission is totally loaded after the briefing it crashes to desktop, and i get the following message:
WARNING:Door atdm_door_96x48_2hinge_11 is not within a valid AAS area

The map takes too much RAM for your system I'm afraid. You should be able to play it using the "image downsize" cvars in Darkmod.cfg to lower
the texture, bump, and specular sizes. Most players only need to lower the bump to 256 to make larger missions playable and this hardly affects the
image quality at all.

256x256 or 128x128 is rather small. Most terrain normal maps in game are 1024x1024px so first I would try setting 512x512 and see if that helps.

Thank you, gfleisher! It worked! Ice, cup and skull - it's easy, but sign of the Earth - it is very difficult to guess. The sign of Earth does not look like Earth.
