the second main area has me grinning like a maniac - I gasped when I activated the precursor ship.
I could finish the mission, but there are a few threads left dangling:
*where do I find the combination for the safe?
*what do I do with the glowing items I've picked up around the dream realm?
also, I've found a few bugs:
*a statue in the foyer is facing the wall. seems odd, unless I missed something.
*in the dream realm, the tree next to the scholar's campsite has no collision.
*after activating the precursor ship, the rocks towards the warning message have extra large invisible collision.
*if one were to reach the bookseller's tower in the dream realm and use the astralux on the mirror they would have an objective tick off, but that special key would disappear and nothing would happen. One must go to the regular bookseller's tower and use the key on that broken version of the mirror first, which will then allow them to go back and forth. I wouldn't have been surprised if it was a one-way trip, but losing the key seems wrong.
this is such a great mission, I hope all the authors (or family members thereof) know how special and how appreciated it is (ಥ﹏ಥ)

You use them in the place you visited in the precursor ship/submarine. Things will change for the better after that.

This seems to be a weird bug, it happened to me the first time I used the
Astralux on the mirror in the dream-world , but after reloading a quicksave it managed to work as expected.

Looks like you got a good hint on where to start with
the objects but let me know if you need some more help.
As far as the
safe door, you may want to
check in with the bank teller Wilson who is near by in the area where you find the duplicated dewdropIf you're having trouble spotting and need a bit more help him try
looking down in this areaThanks for the bug report! The issue with
the mirror is definitely a bug.
Using an astralux device should always return it to inventory so it seems like the scripting is getting fouled up there. We will look at this and the other things you mentioned.

A secret objective ticked off, but it didn't seem to bring the lady any relief (or change anything). Unless I missed something else?

small safe with the box that key goes to. thanks for the advice
the hazards of playing across a few days, I suppose; not making connections that in hindsight are obvious (but are perfectly well hinted at in-game)

getting close didn't do anything; I don't think I could frob it, but the inherent light might have hidden that indicator.
edit:
I tried again, got a very obvious reaction when approaching
I'm very curious what other secret objectives can be achieved?!
