Hi,
I have just tried out TDM these last days and must say I am very impressed. I really feels like Thief, just better.
I played Lucia, and even though I searched for loot REALLY thoroughly, I still only have 2493 loot, consisting of 600 jewels, 880 goods, 1013 gold. That means I am missing 181 loot.
That's a lot, so I am really confused. There must be some "systematic" reason for that. Have I missed a secret stash? Or is there some type of loot that does not look like loot, so I might have overlooked it?
Or maybe do any of the guards carry purses? Because I had real trouble getting the keys from them after they were blackjacked; the keys are as good as invisible and inaccesible after blackjacking, so I had to use the "noclip" cheat to get the keys. Maybe something similar has happened to the purses (but I tried "noclip" for that as well, and couldn't find anything).
Thanks a lot!

In case you don't know, you can turn guards over by picking them up then dropping them. You can do this by frobbing an unconcious guard to begin dragging him, then hit the 'use' button to throw him over your shoulder. When you drop the guard he'll be facing the opposite direction. Makes pickpocketing blackjacked guards much easier.

Ah, thanks, that's very useful. Also makes moving bodies through doorframes easier.
But it does not seem to solve my loot problem: It seems the guards in that level did not carry any purses.

Hey, never played the updated version of St. Lucia so I tried it recently and...well...it basically destroyed The Dark Mod. :erg:
I'm not sure what I did wrong. After I installed the mission it did that thing where it briefly closes Dark Mod and then opens it back up...only now the menu was about 5 times the size (apparently it screwed with my resolution) and there was no more "Main menu", only the mission menu (meaning "start mission" always led to tears of St. Lucia loading, and never brought me to the FMs page, even upon restart).
The only thing I did different than usual before installing was running Dark Mod from a desktop shortcut instead of directly from the Doom 3 folder...is this a big no-no at this point? Or did the latest patch just irreversibly mess up this FM? I'm reinstalling Dark Mod now so it's no big deal...I would like to eventually play this one though.

That sounds a lot like you accidently installed the old St. Lucia file by mistake. Do your other FMs work ok? If so, you don't have to reinstall TDM. Make sure you get the right St. Lucia file though: (

If it was the old one then I think maybe put up the wrong download link on that page. I downloaded it from the first link on that page you just led me to.

It sounds like you are not using tdmlauncher. Change your shortcut to point to tdmlauncher instead of doom3.exe and it should fix it. You might need to reconfig your screen res.

AAAHHH, alright, thanks man! I figured it had something to do with me specifically. :p
