Finally Escaped. Great FM, but not easy. Finally getting the hang of TDM FMs though and really liking them. Finished almost all of them so far. Learned how to put out the candles by accident. Learned how to lockpick and use BJ somewhat. However, in my heart, I'm still Garrett.:):cool:

Yeah, just wanted to second this. This is a fantastic FM, with beautiful storytelling, but it is NOT for newcomers to TDM. It is very challenging, and could easily be frustrating for TDM newbies.

Tried dropping a lit candle on the firewood, no luck. Any hints?

I used a
fire arrow which I had three of in "easy" mode. (Also, you have to drop the firewood in the right spot before lighting it - when you do so, it's horizontal in the middle of the fireplace, even though you dropped it in a way that you wouldn't get that result.)

A lit candle will work...make sure you rotate it so the flame actually touches the horizontal firewood. Just dropping it might miss.
