For those who can't wait for the next update...
The third mission is missing code in the material shader such that if you use either the "Simple" or "Enhanced" ambient methods the terrain will be black. To fix this:
1) Copy the Forest.pk4 to your desktop and rename it to Forest.zip
2) Extract the files
3) Locate the materials directory
4) Modify the forest.mtr file in a text editor (Like "Notepad++" ) to match the code below:

5) Then save all the files to Forest.zip
6) Rename to Forest.pk4
7) Copy to the Doom 3\Forest folder
8) Copy to the Doom 3\darkmod\fms\Forest folder
Now you can use the other Ambient methods in the third mission.

Ok I'm stuck in this mission. I just entered the dungeons, and one of the cells leads to another area, but it's locked and I can't pick it with my lockpicks. I've gone around all over the place, even to the cells over the pit full of zombies, but I can't find anything :(

You missed something. Jump across the zombie pit and check the cell on the far left. You'll find a skeleton and a key for the main gate.

I am frustrated by this "stash". In the inventory, this is a "special" that flashes, with "stash" underneath it. Nothing is "there". I've taken the pirates' stash; I've gotten way more than 1300 in gold and have satisfied that objective. But leave my "stash" for Kutty? I have no idea how, and there is no indication of how I am supposed to do that.
Also: is there a way to put food in my inventory? I had to "carry" an apple all the way back for that optional objective, kind of awkward...

You have to give your "stash" to Kutty.
Kutty is in the back of the Inn. The Inn is near the City watch station I think. Its been a while since I played this but I think there is only one inn in part 2 of this campaign. Kutty is sitting down at a table. Select your "stash" from the inventory and frob it near Kutty. Kutty will then take the stash from you and the objective will complete.
I dont think you can put food in your inventory. I remember the "apple" objective been very awkward myself.

Thanks - I found Kutty, I just don't know how to transfer the stash. Like I wrote, all of my valuables are in the usual inventory selection (I've tried dropping it, etc, to no avail), and that "special - stash" selection is empty.

I'm late t0 this party, playing on the newer TDM download (TDM 2?). I have a question about the third mission -- I'm stuck.
I can't find the key to the little lockbox in the graveyard I've been back twice to see if I missed something, but don't see anything.
Even worse,
Got my loot objective filled, but I can't work out what to do next. KO'd everyone in the house in frustration, looked all over, can't work out how to shut off the poison gas in the Showroom I get the feeling it must be something in the basement, but darned if I can find it.
Great missons, BTW.

Can't help with the key off the top of my head (only played it last week but can't remember where it is), but re the 'poison gas':
it isn't poison gas and you can't turn it off (AFAIK). To stay safe you apparently have to follow the gaze of whichever stag's skull is nearest you on the wall. I could never get that to work, so I just stocked up on health potions, ran up to the pedestal, frobbed the loot (you have to lean forward - it's a pretty short frob range), ran out again and swigged some HPs. :) Don't think anything else on display in the showroom is frobbable.
And yes, it's a great campaign. :)

Hello trying to play this mission V2 on the TDM2 but after completing first part and getting to start the second it stops loading after displaying "generating world please wait" and returns to the objectives of the second mission page but this time the objectives are blank. Any help please?
