I have a quicksave that loads properly, but at the very last moment (when the game screen appears showing the level) it crashes. Does not make a difference if I press the quickload key or load it freshly after a restart.
I have checked and my TDM is up to date. Anyone else has seen this problem?

This is a known problem with some players and I believe it is fixed in the next update (1.02.) However, old gamesaves won't work after an update anyway so it will mean restarting the FM. (worth keeping in mind folks for all future updates, if you are in the middle of playing an FM then don't update TDM until you have finished.)
Sorry this doesn't help you with your current quicksave. I hope you have other recent gamesaves?

Yes I do, and I think they work. Is there anyway I could avoid this problem? Otherwise I will surely run into it again.

Yes, one thing you can do is never save during an alert. This seems to be one cause but it might not happen every time I don't know.

Thanks.
Now a silly question: I have done everything, but can't find the information about the heart. Reading the book on the lectern next to the display window doesn't tick off the objective. Where should I go?
Fidcal on 15/5/2010 at 11:51
Haplo: Info about the Heart is in Lord Edridge's research log in the secret room in the library.

Thanks, and thanks for the great mission.

Hi, I'm playing the v2 of this fantastic mission. I'm playing on expert and I've finished all the objectives except for finding the Book Of Rogues, could someone please tell me where to find it? Thanks in advance.

Yes, in V2 it is in the parlour (where Lord Edridge is)

parlour (where Lord Edridge is) Thanks a lot. I really don't know how I did't notice it. Anyway, congratulation again for the great job you did. Classic thief gameplay, and in my opinion the best tdm fm so far.
