And yes and no to your question. Yes, dragging is the method; but no to 'expected'. ;) It's an option. Some players loved it but I knew some would hate it so I made it an option.

I have a bad feeling that I did things extremely out of order.
I got the heart gemstone and completed all other necessary objectives....but I have no clue who this Sam guy is everyone is talking about. I did read something about a body being kept in the chapel, but I couldn't figure out which room the chapel actually was. I also never got into those barred off rooms to the right and left of the pump room. My only objective now is to escape, and I can't figure out how to do that. So...did I screw up royally?
This was a freaking incredible mission by the way! :thumb:

It's kind of touching though because it makes you actually do some extra "work" to show your appreciation for a fellow thief & friend. What a horrible way to go too.

The Mike: No, if you've done all the objectives then you can make your escape. You've not done anything wrong. You may have missed a section though. If you want to continue then first make sure you can get the key to the interrogation room (see below.) If yes, then first read the book (see below) to get the objective.
The key: is in the cabinet where you got the Heart. The centre section rises up when you take the Heart and you should see the key and a scroll.
If you have the key then...
the book: Go back to the library secret room and read the research log and you should get a new objective.

I've searched for this problem already and can't seem to find this it mentioned, but I am unable to play this mod at all. I have had no trouble playing dark mod missions up until now.
In Heart, I get through the all the preliminaries and start to load, then I get the following error message, before it crashes:
"Error: File map\heartscript, line 138: unknown value "setDroppable"
I've gone back and replayed several other missions to make sure that the problem isn't with my game installation and they all work fine. Any thoughts?

Old and Cunning: Yes, your Dark Mod is definitely not up to date. Try the updater again. If it still will not work you may have to do this: Copy the tdm_update.exe from the darkmod folder to another spare empty folder and run it there to get the full download again. Then copy all those files including the tdm_update.exe back to the darkmod folder. Sorry I don't know any other way or why this happens. Two other players have had this same problem.

I have a note of the missing key problem and will look into it over the next few days along with some other issues. My guess it has got knocked down or away somewhere. Meanwhile the only solution, if you haven't got an earlier save, is to enter noclip in the console to go through the door of the interrogation room. In this case I think cheating is acceptable. ;)
Before doing that you might try entering in the console something like:
g_showEntityInfo 1
Then look around in the game and see if you can see the words:
KeyInterrogationRoom

Alright, thanks for the help earlier Fidcal. I'm still pretty stuck though...
I got into the interrogation room but can't seem to find anything to do there. I see a dead body, but it's apparently not Sam. Am I missing something?
