While I, Quince and Jacow are making our way to Ramirez's place, we pass by a few citizens. They're probably just there to add flavour, making the city look less deserted while I walk through it. Still, they're there, and I want to know what they're up to. If I decide to ditch Quince and Jacow, and follow the citizens instead, I don't get to see anything interesting before the mission ends. If I follow Quince and Jacow until I reach Ramirez's place, none of the citizens can be found. Where did they go? Did they go to bed? Just where are they living anyway?

I'd like to know where they go, too.
Any DromEdeers know?

They are simply deleted from the mission once you reach the mansion. The same happens to the servants in the mansion if the alarm is set off, if I recall correctly.

So, when Garrett says his line on the street outside Ramirez' place, the citizens pop out of the map? Would they wander in circles if the player wasn't forced to keep moving forward to avoid a mission fail? Or would they reach an end point and stand around, never having meant to actually reach that spot due to the timing of meeting the "follow" objective?
I always figured they disappeared, but I'd like to see the paths they follow someday.

They patrol in circles around the city. But the disappearing can be prevented by editing the mission, with these commands in DromEd:
Code:
load_file miss5.mis
find_obj PeasantKiller
delete_brush
find_obj ServantKiller
delete_brush
save_mission miss5.mis

Thank you. I don't have DromEd though, so I can't do that. By the way, I have found 5 servants and 1 swordsman wandering around the city. Are there more?

Dromed comes on the original game cd, so you should have it.

DromEd 1 only came with only Gold, though...right? Not Dark Project? If Secataur has Gold...:thumb:

Alas, there are no Gold in these hills.
