That is, if you like to cheat.

And it doesn't work in Gold.
Would the hammer trick be applicable with other pieces of stuff? Rubble and the like?

I used the hammer throwing technique and it makes killing the haunts very easy. The haunts don't even seem to be alerted when hit by it so they don't even come after you.
It ruined the level for me as I took out the haunts and the ghost things (can't remember their name) right from the start, and that killed the suspense of the level.

But you can get over the wall using crates without receiving tasks from Murus.

Indiana Jones did it in the Temple of Doom, so why can't Garrett?
He is pretty much Indiana Jones for the most part of TDP. ;)

*imagines Garrett swinging on a rope to the Indiana Jones March*:laff:
But besides the hammers, the water and the total avoidance, is there any other non-damage recording way to kill haunts? Can you get them into fight with other undead, like the ghost things?
DJ Riff on 21/8/2007 at 06:27
Undead won't fight each other. Have you tried to crush them with elevator?
Hmm, and is killing them wia explosive mines counts as damage?

lol, I think I was tired and didn't realize what thread this was

That's very nice and completely unrelated.
Do apparition's attacks hurt haunts? You could get a haunt between you and an apparition and get it to attack you, thus hitting the haunt.
