Mission 2 - WOW is all I can say, well done!

The author of this campaign is "anonymous", but I can see he is a Kundera fan. Which makes it quite obvious who he is :D

I've seen a reference to Ouroboros in the thread, but I never found it myself. Can anybody give me a hint as to where it is?

Hint please! Just me then - where is that darned Catacombe key? I have been all over, no one left standing, bodies/drunks searched, safe contents safely in my swag bag, Cathedral ransacked, rooms cleaned out, rooftops and armouries pilfered and emptied and I still haven't come across a key! :(
Off for another run through the streets and Cathredral........
EDIT: Found! :) Possibly the only place missed on the sweep of the entire town - as per usual I might add.

I've been up and down the tower with the respawning haunts where can I find what's supposed to be in there?

Big hint: you need to find
something to activate on each of the four floors

Great campaign, but is it just my set up or the missions (specially the second one) are excessively dark? Even with gamma set to maximum (which makes everything look very ugly) I can barely play some parts of them.

This is my second playthrough of this FM set and this time I have decided to ghost it. Mission 1 during my first playthrough was just OK, I was just exploring and completed all objectives accidentally. But on my second playthrough I had opposite feelings. I knew where everything is, so I could explore the city more strategically. Also ghosting this mission was actually more fun than playing it normally. Which is weird, because I actually don't like ghosting missions.
Mission 2 impressed me more, because of technical stuff and riddles and atmosphere. But during the second playthrough I have realized that this mission wasn't made for ghosting. Most of areas are very easy to ghost and also there is a bust of the ghosting very early in the mission: there is no way to leave Water Shrine with Water Talisman without being spotted by 2 floating scimitars. I thought that maybe by swimming I will ghost it, but the entrance is blocked by stone gate. The rest of the mission is quite easy to get through without being noticed (and by the way I'm talking about avoiding second alerts, first alerts were OK for me).
The most interesting and challenging area in Mission 2 was Halls of Eternal Tranquility. It was really tough place. I had really big problem with zombie alerted by magic bolts and once zombie froze in front of the ladder (luckily he unfroze when I reloaded previous save).
Also I have a question about flying lanterns. Is their giggling first or second alert? I assumed it's the first. Also when I activated trap chest in Hall of the Hundred Heroes, the lantern got scared and run away from me with double speed. That was a view.

I did a ghost-ish run myself a few days ago, and while I didn't succeed, I did manage to leave the water shrine without being spotted. Scimitars will still second alert to the trap, and since you trigger it yourself, it's a bust. However, you can avoid the direct confrontation with them. The method is pretty simple: you can block the door with any object. I used one of my potions. Once you pick it up on your way out, the door closes completely. I really didn't want to give up on ghosting this scenario, and I'm glad I found a way to, if not succeed, at least lower the severity of the bust. :D
As for the Halls of Eternal Tranquility, there is indeed a zombie who alerts to a trap, but that is no bust itself. An alerted zombie just makes that area more difficult to sneak through. Besides, he probably would have alerted to you jumping into the water anyway. There might also be a way to ghost that area. I have an idea, but I'll have to experiment when I replay the mission. :D
Floating lanters do not react to you at all, so I don't know if they even have to be ghosted. They do react to traps, but that's easy to avoid.

Could I have a hint please for the Heart as I have been running around the Tower of Dead Thoughts for ages now and I'm getting to the frustrated stage again :) I still have the Tower of Silence to pillage for the eye.
TIA
Solved! :)
