You need to search in an area occupied by
scrappers/thieves in the Coghill Market & Depot area of your map. I think the look up clue maybe only helps you to
get into the area - not to actually locate the book.

Excellent mission with a wonderful intricate, dark and abandoned TDP type city - plus a nice tense atmosphere. Finished on Expert with a good 1500 loot left to get so I wonder if I've missed a key area? The fast zombie swordsmen and the fire zombie were tough adversaries and the submerged zombies in some of the water areas were always a scare.
Didn't find a use for these items left in inventory - have I missed a side quest or two?
* Sapphire Vase
* Ancient Fire poker
* Antique Bracelet
* Old Rosary
* Hilrem Pendant
* Old Maester Medal
Thanks for a great mission.

I've finished this mission today and I have to say there were only few times I was ever this immersed when playing Thief FMs. Stunning visual and sound design. There is one thing I didn't enjoy nearly as much though.
Scrappers' hideout area has 4 possible entry points (I'm not counting the gate), 3 of them being very close to each other. Assuming you enter through one and exit through another, checking out the others means going through the area you've already been to possibly twice. Even keeping in mind the surprises some of the routes had in store it still was disappointing, at least to me.
There's a similar situation with Medwick Tower area which has 4 or 5 ways to enter. Here they're a bit more interesting and spread out but exploring all of them still means doing loops around Medwick Tower. Personally I'd find it more interesting if some of them instead of leading to the tower featured some small area with loot at the end, even if that would mean having to do some backtracking on the way back. For example the east side entry where you use a rope arrow could end with an attic just showing you the tower area through a window. Sewers are for the most part not very interesting from the map design perspective because they don't lead to any areas you can't access in other way.
In general this mission focuses on the multi-routes design the moment you enter Old Quarter proper. It no doubt was an intentional decision by the author(s) and I've seen some people being very happy about having a setup like that in other missions, so it's possible I'm even in the minority not liking this approach. Time constraint was also a thing so maybe some compromises have had to be made.
All of that being said, the individual areas' level design and architecture were very good which still made traversing the map very enjoyable.

Finished in 2:38 and with 3565/4790 loot (I guess there's a ton hidden away in nooks and crannies that I didn't find! I didn't explore the area around Medwick Tower very much, thanks to the fire zombie and the fire spirits that were rather too free with their fireball spells.
I loved the setting: a great take on the ruined Old Quarter, although rather harder to navigate than The Haunted Cathedral. The lack of meaningful streets either on the map or in the architecture (and finding the two often seeming in conflict) kept me pretty confused about what was where and the distances between places. I kept my compass out pretty much all the time, or I'd have been exceedingly lost! Loved the idea of the place being used as a dumping ground to get rid of inconvenient evidence, and that scrappers were present still looting the area was great. Were any of the zombies around supposed to be ex-scrappers? I couldn't really tell.
I left the primary objective until last which turned out to be a good idea: discovering that even more enemies had spawned in the areas I'd already been would've been quite frustrating if I'd been still searching for the six old artifacts with no clue as to where they might be (are there more than six? I found a number of items, and don't really know which counted towards this objective and which didn't. I think I had eight misc named items in my inventory by the time the objective was completed!) Obviously I'd taken the scenic route getting to the tower, because on the way out it took me almost no time to get back to where I started!
The puzzle in the catacombs gave me a little trouble because I was expecting all four tombs to need items. I thought the rosary would be the Holy Blessing item, but couldn't drop it. Then I read a hint here and all was good. Incidentally, I only used the one Ancient Hammer, because I picked it up (and the book) immediately after dropping them, but the way was opened anyway! — three more old artifacts for Garrett to sell, I suppose ^_^

I finished in Expert. This could be the best undead mission I have played in terms of tension and immersion. The architecture was true grit. The labyrinthine map, with lots of vertical and water content, was tough to navigate. The 2-D map image was not very helpful except for general directions. All that confusion was part of its charm. I played half the mission ghosting, but that became too frustrating for me. After ghosting the fast, fiery, and tough thing (what was that?!) a few times, I decided to blow him up with a mine, and then I began a BJ / sword-slashing run from there. With all the ghosting and back tracking, I put in 6 hours clock time over three nights, with appropriate memory lapses in between. It was satisfying to find all six contracted ancient items. I missed 1295 loot including the serpentile torq I had read about, but I could not locate that house.
Thank you very much for this fine mission!

All that is good in this mission has already been mentioned by the others, and I do agree with them :) This is another "Shining Pearl" AMONG the FMs and I like it very much :) Actually I love every square centimeter of this FM ;) What I said about "Whistling..." is also perfect match for this one: Level design is stunning, amount of details - enormous. I love this kind of space-efficiency. Map seem to be huge, yet it is clever packed at not very big space area. There is always something interesting to see in every direction after taking a few steps forward :) Superb feeling. When maps are created like that, You forget about an objectives for a longer moment of time and just keep exploring area to search for loot, other items and to enjoy the beauty of the created map/level :) When that's happen, You know the map is GOOD :) Fabulous work.
Many vertical ways, many rope spots, many possibilities, hundreds of hundreds of crannies and nooks - gorgeous map ;) This misty/foggy thing at water surface looks great ;)
Is this green half-transparent Keeper have some purpose? or he's just for show? Maybe he's lost? and need help to find Keeper's Compound? :) Anyway I don't remember any secret Keeper's doors. I was trying to speak with him even BJ him :D but new objective(s) never appeared. If I sword him down I failed no-kill objective, so he is definitely a person, not a ghost.
It is really bad that Old Mill is not reachable... or it is? but I just didn't find the way? :) It looks faded on a map :( Will there be a version 2.0 in the future with this additional district?
Six of the relics is required for Baron, but It should be Bonus Objective where found all of them. I found 8, is there 2 more to a round 10? Maybe after adding Old Mill if there isn't? ;)
There is only ONE complaint from my side, but it is BIG, FAT, HUGE, ABNORMALLY GIANT and this thing is UNACCEPTABLE ;) However, it does NOT affect my assessment/rate in any way ;P Loot spoiler possible, so... beware:
I found two pieces of loot at the beginning, but those who didn't succeed with them will be screwed if they already fulfilled other objectives... They will NEVER find them because mission ends immediately after reach top of ladder... Why? May I asked?...
I love the way how always Skacky deals with it. You are starting at the "2 square meters" building's recess/niche and this LITTLE square or rectangle surface is where You are ending the mission. You know the EXACT point of end and just don't step into it if You are still doing a loot hunt or just because You don't want to end the mission yet. Why couldn't be so in this case?
{spoiler inside spoiler=ON}<spoiler inside="" spoiler="ON">
The candle is probably reachable if You are fast and if You know where to fly-into, but time will probably not allow for the cup, and mission will end permanently :( This is unfair and dishonest for those players who don't know about this mission's behaviour and still hunting for 100% of loot. They will probably assume that there is no loot UP HERE (if HERE mission ends), and they will be searching at underground FOREVER, therefore they will never reach 100%...
<spoiler inside="" spoiler="OFF">{spoiler inside spoiler=OFF}
There is a perfect building's niche at start, so I really don't understand why mission is not ending at this point. The same, where it's started.
After 6 hours and 09 min (cheatty end-stats says: 3h 57min), zero kills, but I had to BJ 2 Scrappers :( - Servant and Guard. They were blocking the doorway :( They just stood still one by one. No move, no conversation. Is it intentional? Maybe they are start patrolling when player comes from other direction? There is more routes to them which I didn't found while playing at this point of time (found them (routes) later). Only 4025 of loot found. Awesome adventure :) I want more such like this ;)</spoiler></spoiler>
