I've played this FM multiple times, I love it- one of my all time favorites. I decided to use Cheat Engine today to fly around and take some screenshots/make gifs, etc. and discovered that there's a switch in this inaccessible hallway, the one on the north side of Cistern Court with the glyph & pagan book:

Just curious if anyone else could take a look?
Also, does anyone know anything about those symbols around the level- the "butterfly" shape made out of two 3s and an 8 (appears twice), the... key from two 1s and a 3, the crossed 7 and 1, etc.? There's probably more I never saw in any of my playthroughs of this, considering I just found one of those today.

I took a look, it's not meant for the player, it's supposed to be behind the scenes stuff. If I'm interpreting it correctly, there's an unarmed Thief behind the 3rd portcullis when the mission starts. As soon as he spots the player, he walks over to the switch and pulls it, which teleports him into an inaccessible area of the map. So in essence it's just an ambiance thing, giving the notion to the player that there are active people around.

Ahh, that makes sense. I knew there was an AI behind there that disappears, but I figured he just went around the corner and stayed out of sight. I figured it was probably going to be something never meant for the player, considering it's inaccessible without cheating, but I think part of me was hoping for something I still hadn't discovered :P Thank you for checking!

Stupid question:
I just finished the main objective (escorting Bernalt to Grandmaulden. I found him in the library in the upper room, and, he's dead, and, there's only a readable to find). Is that it? I really thought that the objective would go on after his death...
I also don't understand what "Pud's Tip" is about.
Oh well, impatience got the best of me, and I just finished the mission.
Pretty frustrating experience, I must say. I understand why this mission is one of the controversial ones. If the path to the objectives already is almost as well hidden as secrets in other missions, and you have to hardsave before a certain event, and graze the whole path the target is taking to the objective, so that he doesn't get harmed, while having to deal with loads of locked gates, which aren't that straight forward to open as well in most cases, then you know that the balance between challenge and playability is pretty off.
Shame, as Disorientation by the same author is a very good, and also very straight forward and playable mission. This is more for masochistic people.
