gnartsch, there are actually plenty of hints
where the parts ended up, since you get teleported to each spot before ending up in the abandoned factory.Hmmm... strange. I do not recall gotten teleported anywhere.

Check the Scrappers forgeThank you!
Mission finished on "normal" almost two hours of gameplay , when i began playing this mission i was a bit septic at first, as the city layout looks chaotic and weird, but as i progress in the game i find this map fun to play, even thought destroying the core is not really clear as i've never found a holy potion, but answers here helped to find out other means to destroy it. There's a lot of readables throughout the mission which helps to give life to this map, some secrets makes the mission even more enjoyable. the exteriors are not so well polished as the interiors (c'est la pagaille à l'extérieur). I don't know who would could have built this mission but i have a suspicion. Apart from that this is a satisfying experience, and i will replay it on "expert" next time, and the video intro is excellent. My score is 8 out of 10!
Thank you for this Gift!

That's probably my least favorite mission in this contest. Doing confusing city mission is one thing, but unfortunately the main story became also confusing. What's the point of fixing the core if our first objective is to destroy it? This is just dumb. Also core pieces teleport somewhere and in super short teleportation cutscenes you need to figure out where they appeared. Which is very tough. I watched this cutscene 20 times before figuring out these places. The first one I got was from junk machine in Scrappers, so I assumed it was from generator area (4th cutscene). So after getting water and fire core, I started to search for area with metal door. When I found it, I couldn't find the core. I checked forum and read that core was stolen. After 30 min realized that Scrapper core was actually from 3rd cutscene. So I started looking on roofs. Finally I climbed on top of tower and killed fire mage who almost killed, but also dropped coins. I even killed shadow guard which failed the mission. And finally found air core which I missed because it blend with power collector.
Another thing was finding compromising information. It took me a lot of time to find it hint in the bedroom. After that I need to find crane. But even though I explored the whole city and there was crane on the map, it took me 1 hour to notice it. And another 1 hour to find the right door. This is too well hidden for my tastes.
On the other hand I liked the blueprint riddle.
One more thing I noticed is some door are getting closed after I returned to some areas (for example there is metal door in Scrapper Area which whenever I was going back was closed). Another thing is after KO-ing guard in tavern and reloading his unconscious form changing into sitting. It wouldn't be anything special, but his upper part is moving. That's something I never saw before.
So I will summarize what I didn't like: idiotic story twist, stuff too well hidden, super short teleportation cutscenes and second exploration of the whole city being forced.

Galaer: you needed to repair the core because it was specified that the core needed to look intact after the sabotage. There's no stupid twist, it was always like this. The sabotaged core isn't going to fool anyone if it's broken to pieces.

I took screenshots after each port, once I realized what was happening. Was pretty easy to find each one after that. Even that was probably unnecessary as the playable area isn't really that big.

Good for you, I have no idea how to make screenshots.

But if I fix broken core, then what's the point of sabotage to begin with?Because they want it to fail during the contest to cause humiliation. If he sees that the core is broken, he'll make a new one that won't fail.

Pretty high tech stuff, so without a detailed understanding of advanced trigonometry and 1337 hacking skills, you might wanna play it safe and not bother.
I'll try and explain, because it's super hard to figure out.
You have to actually look at the controls in the menu and assign a key.
Seriously though, all that said the map isn't that big.

I didn't know it was that simple. I never knew there was something like that in controls. It's true map isn't that big, but it's much easier to look for stuff the first time than the second when you have everything unlocked.

Because they want it to fail during the contest to cause humiliation. If he sees that the core is broken, he'll make a new one that won't fail. The thing is if I fix the core, it will work perfectly well on the contest. Just like before sabotage. That's why the story is idiotic for me.
